Rated 1 out of 5 by Ray from Garbage anchor kit [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The brace is fine but the anchor kit that come with the braces are junk. The reason is because they use a smooth nail. The thing goes in easy but the problem with that is it also comes out just as easy. Just a little pressure from the weight of the shelf and the nail immediately started to come out. To fix this I had to replace the kit that came with the braces with a dry screw kit from a picture hanging kit I had lying around the house. If you can find a brace and anchor kit that uses a screw instead of a nail, definitely get it instead of this because you will have to replace what comes in this set if you want it to work and not fail.

Item #56606 includes (2) brackets (not 3 as pictured) and (2) plastic anchors (not all of the hardware shown in the picture). Instructions indicate placing (1) bracket 2-3" from each end of shelf and (1) bracket every 36" in between, so this kit as supplied is only adequate for a 36" shelf. Additional kits are required to install longer shelves in accordance with the supplied instructions

Rated 1 out of 5 by Noxm from Doesn’t even fit their own product Don’t know how this worked for other people but it’s like the slit in the shelf end of the bracket isn’t deep enough. No amount of bending/unbending the curved part allows it to sit flush against the shelf bar like it’s supposed to while still being able to nail the other end into the wall in the correct angle. As a result the weight of the shelf is being supported by the thin wire resting on the top of the curve of the bracket. I’m at a loss and completely frustrated.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Kd from Wrong advertising Ordered this product 3 days ago and received it today. I got 2 long pieces, 2 screws n 2 anchors. What a rip off and a lie of a product. I actually bought this same items last summer so I was expecting what I saw in this pic which is what I got. The stores don't carry this anymore so only available on line but this is not what you get. Sooooo disappointed. When I got it last summer., it was perfect. But not anymore.

Rated 2 out of 5 by tigervideo from mounting hardward is bad The plastic plugs into the wall are fine, but driving a nail in the hole just does not work for me. In the past, the system came with screws and these seemed to hold much stronger in the wall that the nail. When driving the nail through the hold in the standoff bar I found that the nail goes all the way through the bar and hold nothing. No washers in the package anywhere so I can only assume that the person that came up with the plug and nail application never installed what had been created.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Steve from Poorly designed Clips supporting back side of shelf are too tight making it difficult to snap and unsnap them to/from the wire frame shelf. The excess force damages the drywall by enlarging the hole and causing the clips to become loose. Steel pegs also require excessive force to drive them into place. Do yourself a favor and buy something that works.

Rated 1 out of 5 by RogerD from The nails render this product useless The shelf support is fixed to the wall with a plastic anchor and nail, which might be ok except the head of the nail is much smaller than the diameter of the hole in the support, which means after you nail the nail into the plastic anchor, the shelf support simply falls off. How in the world the manufacturer can sell this with a straight face I just don't know.
