Rated 5 out of 5 by Doodlebug from VERY NEAT AND CLEAN LOOKING I own four sets of these drawer units and plan to buy at least one more. I started out using them in my walk in closet instead of a dresser and loved them so much that when I recently redid my sewing room I bought two sets of them for all my fabric. I have read some reveiws that say the drawers fall out, I have never had that happen on any of mine, but there is a weight limit for each drawer. I suppose if you put too much weight in that could happen. Proper installation is really the key. They are well made, convenient, very nice looking and can be hung at any height. I have some in the middle of the wall and some all the way down to the floor. They are a bit pricey but well worth it.

They roll out with ease and have had no trouble with them at all. Now I went to put an organization system in my very narrow linen closet and I found these drawers that state they are 13" wide. Well, they are not 13" wide they are I believe 24" wide. I was very sad as it was the only set of drawers I found that were that narrow but then they weren't that narrow. Lowes did pay for the shipping back and Fedex picked up the package the next day. I did report the misinformation stated on the web to customer care but I still see it says 13" wide. So just beware of the size difference.

I have bought a lot of Closet Maid Shelf Track stuff and outfitted many closets with it. BUT...Closet Maid, yer killing me with this...in this kit, the brackets are marked L and R for left and right. I wasted an extra 20 minutes putting these together because NOTHING WORKED! Then I finally realized that the L bracket goes on my RIGHT, and the R bracket goes on my LEFT. You see, they're talking about Left and Right from the SHELF'S point of view!!! Who thought THAT was a good idea?

Then we discovered if you pull the drawer any other way than straight out and only up to 2/3 of the way, the assembly collapses and you have to reassemble the whole thing. This does not work for a reach-in closet where you are pulling the drawer from an angle and it does not work for my 6 year old daughter.

With a simple touch the support brackets move from side to side causing the drawers to fall out emptying their contents. We had to buy and utilize numerous bungee cords to secure the drawers.

The drawers were an excellent addition and accomplished exactly what I needed. Installation requires following the instructions closely and using the bracket locks that come with the kit. As long as you do that the drawers are sturdy and slide easily. They do not fall. Reviews mentioning this were likely due to incorrect installation.

It's important to read the instructions printed on the box exterior. Some reviewers have complained that the drawers fall down. If you install them per instructions, locking the shelf supports in place, the drawers work well. The wall hanging brackets need to be ordered separately. We installed these directly to the wall, not in a closet that already had a wire shelving system.
