Great uses for the money
I needed some one to help cut the rack to the size I needed and the guy knew his job. Then I will use the shelves in the closets and the left over smaller shelving in the garage. I put the upper rack at 80 inches and then the lower rack at 41 inches under the upper one. Hey if I did it any one can do it. I did it myself (68 yrs old female) and I bought this house and had to change lots of things and needed to add more room to put clothes in the closet so I doubled my closet. Sorry no pictures yet. But first I took down the mid shelving and patched all the holes and painted it then marked where the shelves should go and made sure it was LEVEL. Good luck. I did it on three walls in the closet... delivery
We have recently moved to this area and so we have been making changes to our new house. We had to have the shelves delivered becaue of their length. Since we had to pay a delivery fee we expected that your company would make sure the product was in perfect condition. That was not the case, two of the four wire shelves were bent. Since my husband is pretty handy and set the bent areas toward the back wall you can't see the damage. This unfortunately is not the first time this has happened using your service. This summer we ordered a number of craftsman cabinets and in that order there were a number of bent pieces. I think your employees need to do a better job of delivering products that are in tact.

Medium term solution
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Inexpensive and easy to install. Good medium term solution. Paint coating becomes sticky after a few years and shelves and supports must be replaced. Recommend wood shelving a little more expensive but better long term value.

Basic shelving
This is the most basic of Closet Maid's shelving offerings. It is also probably the strongest with thicker wires. The drawback is stops every foot or so. Easy to install if you know what you're doing. Cutting to the exact length is best with a heavy duty clipper.

Worth the money
Easy to install using the vertical strips and brackets purchased with the shelves.
Although made for closets, they are great over work area in garage. A wide bracket should be available for joining lengths of shelves.

catastrophic failure of hinging clips
Have had shelf rod system 27 years until yesterday when there was a catastrophic failure and all the shelfs came crashing down - plastic clips sheared off and supports were ripped out of the drywall.
