Can this be used to close a gp of about 2 inches? It is for the inside (2nd) door behind the front door.
Hello Charlie, This ite will not fil a 2" gap. We would recommend using this item with a threshold in order to fill this 2" gap. Thanks!

Good design. Blocks all draft.
I found this design (with three foam strips down the bottom) better than the design with multiple plastic flags down the bottom. The flags tend to flatten and crushed and would not bounce back to the original shape, allowing cold air to come through. The foam strips on the weather strip keeps all the draft out. The strips will not crush.

Worked
So l bought this cause the old wasn’t working. Cold air was coming in . But the new one on . It looks nice but still feeling cold air. I think l need a new screen door. But other then that. It was easy to install and cut to size. I like it

Great product despite the missing screws
Like someone else on here, I ordered two of these door sweeps for my south-facing patio doors. They fit nicely on the door, but the packaging for both sweeps was torn and the screws to attach them to the door were missing.

Inferior "New" product!!
I needed a new sweep for the my garage(the old rubber type had deteriorated), so picked up a new sweep. I was using an older(5+ years) on the front/back door and was expecting a similar quality, I was surprised to see the new model very inferior to the older versions. The synthetic bristles on the bottom were half as wide. The rubber portion which keeps out any moisture running down the outside of the door was also half as large.There were no screws to attach it to the door with. And the price was 3X the old!! I suspect this package to be a return and was repackaged by store staff who did not check for "all the parts" when returned. I would have returned it as well, but had already cut to fit my door(dumb dumb me). I will do a follow up after this winter as to which (old/new) is better. Lesson learned- any package that might look repackaged by staff will in future be left on the shelf and if no other the the sale would be lost.

Didn't work for me
Didn't work for my door. Seems like the brushes are too short. Can't return it cuz I've cut it to fit my door to try it.

Durable product
I had this weatherstrip on my rear storm and entry doors and was very satisfied with their performance. In the winter months, it totally outperformed the models with vinyl flaps as the nylon fibers would yield even though it was -35 C outside. Unfortunately I was unable to find a replacement last time and went back to the nylon flapped model which binds and is hard to open in the winter. Now that I know where to buy, there will be new weatherstripping on all doors!!

Made well.
Bought them for south facing doors to keep out the rain. Waiting for a good driving rain to see if they keep it out.
