Description

How can I use this softener for my hair? I want to soften the water in bathroom because it is harshing my hair and skin.
This product get added to a water softener, which is a piece of equipment connected to the main water pipe coming into your home. All the water in your home passes through the water softener so that various minerals remain dissolved, and don't get deposited on your dishes, pots & pans, your hair & skin, sinks and faucets. Softener salt is not intended to be applied directly to your skin and hair; it is to be placed into a water softener. Windsor softener salt is an excellent product for this equipment.

I was told by a Lowes employee that this works great for your driveway, to device snow?
Yes you can. It’s a lot cheaper and same to the environment as regular rock salt. I suggest getting something cheaper for 5$ or less. The cheaper salt will have more dirt in it hence better for ice melting. Try a bag! U will see the results

On average or a family of how long will one bag last?
For us (2 people) we use one bag per week. Seems high and was looked at buy softener dealer and found to be functioning properly. I would like to know why pellets went up $2 per bag over night ? ?

Are Windsor system saver 11pellets evaporated or solar
Windsor® System Saver II pellets may be harvested from either evaporated or solar salt. The method of harvesting salt does not impact the effectiveness of water softening salt.

Would this product be effective in an evaporator tray of my humidifier without dismantling the system?
Windsor® System Saver II is formulated for use in a water softening unit. We do not recommend placing the pellets directly into a humidifier.

Does Not Cause Bridging
These large pellets do not adhere to each other and cause bridging in the water softener tank unlike finer-grained and dusty products. I can put several bags of this salt in my softener tank without it forming a solid mass and hanging up. I am grateful for the delivery option as this is heavy stuff to load into and out of an automobile and I get a year's supply delivered on a pallet.

Great product, the contents come in large pellet form instead of being powdered/dusty like some. We find this is easier on our water softener and lasts longer. We have noticed a significant decrease in buildup when using the dishwasher!
