The Classic Railing top and bottom rails are designed for an 8-foot on-center section of railing. These are the standard top and bottom rails for use with all standard pickets, wide pickets, decorative pickets and glass railing systems. Constructed of high strength aluminum alloys with a premium UV powder coat finish for maximum durability and low maintenance. The patented lock-in picket system allows pickets to be quickly installed in top & bottom rails without the use of fasteners and still meet building code requirements to ensure a safe and durable railing. Meets or exceed national building codes. Always refer to your local Building Code for guidelines and limitations before you begin your railing and deck project. Easy to install, easy to maintain. Looks great
Makes a nice railing. One small problem when posts are exactly 8ft apart and 93" top and bottom rail trimmed to fit the spindles and spacers come up a bit short. Had I known it would have been better to put posts at 95 3/4" on center.
