About 80-90% of the gas/flame comes out where the burner holes divert to the two sides of the burner to accommodate the carryover tube assembly. There is very little flame coming out the rest of the way . Is this a defect of a design flaw?

I sent a question on March 31, 2022 and have not received a response yet. Can I remove the not required side shelf simply with a flat head screwdriver removing three screws without affecting the barbecue itself? Is it three screws to remove? Thank You.

Great grill at a value price!
I purchased this grill to replace a 10 year old grillmaster product with similar features. I am impressed with this unit, particularly for the price. I self-assembled the grill, which took several hours. The components are high quality and the fit and finish is good. No missing parts. The assembly instructions, with a couple of exceptions, are very clear. The heat sensitive components, such as the bottom grease pan and grates are porcelain coated, which means they should last a lot longer. I had to replace multiple parts on the grillmaster i previously owned several times over the years as they were just galvanized steel and rotted The new grill heats evenly and the controls are sensitive and easy to use. Overall, I am very happy and recommend this grill.

Great barbecue broken regulator attachment
The first tank did not last as long as it should. The attachment was not airtight and had a leak. When I attached the second tank and turn the tank on and I thought I might get a cold burn from the escaping gas. It was screwed on as tight as I can make it and when I push the regulator to the side it would stop leaking until I let go. My sons gave this to me as a gift so I don’t have a receipt. Be careful and check the tank connection to make sure yours isn’t made like mine.

Quality Grill AT Decent Price
Pleased with the grill so far after my first use. There aren't any hooks to hang grilling utensils, but there are small holes on the edge of the side trays that may be able to accommodate something creative. Not difficult to assemble, but prepare yourself for a couple of hours to focus solely on this task. There are 57 components that are poorly labelled and must be matched against generic drawings in the instruction booklet. Pay close attention to what you are working with as many of the parts look similar with very subtle differences such as three screw holes vs. two, etc.... Be on your game!!! Be mindful of the plastic bags that each component is packed in as they may attract small children and pets as they accumulate on the floor while you're assembling!!!

Heating issue
I recently bought this grill, and while it works well in most ways, I cannot get the temperature to go over about 390, and it seems to struggle to get it over 350. All four burners are on high and my propane tank is full. For certain foods this temperature is fine, but it would not thoroughly cook others. I am thinking of returning it unless it can be fixed.

Still a Piece of... work.
My first review concerned the (lack of) quality and structural integrity of this grill. The snarky, condescending response I received from customer service (or whoever...) seemed to imply that I hadn't assembled it correctly.
Let me be clear. It was assembled correctly. I assembled it by the letter of the instruction manual. (I rebuild engines and repair electronic equipment for a hobby, for crying out loud. I know how to use tools and read instructions.) After lighting it tonight, (and having to pick up one of the "tents" out of the fire box, because it isn't long enough to it the distorted frame) my annoyance is renewed. This thing is a flimsy, substandard piece of crap. Never again. Suggest you spend your funds elsewhere.

Liked the grill , but when it arrived 3 parts were missing. This item came boxed up so why is there no quality control to make sure all parts are there? It took my husband 3 hours to assemble only to discover 3 missing pieces!

****CAUGHT ON FIRE****
This grill completely caught on fire because the hose was not fully attached to the regulator for the propane tank. The fries was big enough that my neighbor could see the flames over the top of my roof. Lowe’s assembled it but says it’s not their fault because that piece comes to them already attached, meaning it is Char Broil’s fault. It could have caught my house on fire or seriously injured my family. I will never use anything from them again.

Very nice product. We had it put together and delivered, however when we went to use it that night, the flame was very low. After researching online, we figured it out to be the regulator which when we went to connect the gas tank the hose was full of water. We drove to Lowe’s, where the manager was very helpful and replaced the hose, took it right off the floor model
