Description
CertainTeed's fibreglass insulating wool R40 is designed for the insulation of attic floors, between the rafters or perpendicular to existing insulation batts to keep thermal and acoustical comfort. This product significantly reduces energy demand and home energy cost. Sustainable insulation is intended for use in residential or commercial construction as thermal and acoustical insulation for ceilings, walls and floors. The insulating wool designed for standard wood stud and steel frame assemblies contains an organic, plant-based binder with no formaldehyde, dyes, harsh acrylics or any unnecessary fire retardant chemicals added. It provides privacy, peace and comfort in one application while producing low dust, superior rigidity and good thickness recovery.
