Description

This CertainTeed all-purpose semi-light joint compound from the Easi-Fil series is all you need for your interior projects. Easy to use for embedding wallboard tape, filling and finishing joints, trims and fasteners. This bucket of 12 L has a coverage capacity of 300 square feet, more than enough to take care of all the little imperfections. It dries within an hour and is pre-mixed, so it saves your precious time and allows you to get the job done in half a day. This product has an easy-to-use and re-sealable container so that the compound never loses its quality.

Installing drywalls on framing ( certainteed lightweight drywalls). DO I apply this product directly on the drywall and tapes on the joints ? or is something else needed before this ?I assume coat, wait sand and repeat ? Is this all you need before paint?

Yes, You can apply this directly to the drywall joints and tapes. No other product(s) , other than tape or corner bead is needed before sanding and painting.
