CeilingMAX quickly and easily covers old tile ceilings, floor joists, plaster or drywall. Using snap-in technology, CeilingMAX works with any standard 2-inch x 2-inch or 2-inch x 4-inch tiles. Manufactured with high-grade vinyl, CeilingMAX eliminates rust and scratches without demolition cost, mess and downtime. CeilingMAX provides an immediate ceiling grid solution. With surface mounting it saves up to 6 inches of ceiling height. Kit includes four 8 ft top hangers, four 8 ft runners, sixteen 2 ft cross tees and four 8 ft wall brackets, ceiling tiles are sold separately. Comes with a 10-year warranty.

Don’t buy ceilingmax from
Just don’t
Plan on the worse experience possible for a ceiling install.
A ~ 300sq ft space will be at least five kits @ $140. Run out of one component and you’ll need a whole new kit. Manufacturer can sell individual components but add a $43 shipping charge. The the poor quality plastic components and fidgety install process will make you confident that any good review was from an employee..

Ceiling went up fairly quick .
Finished ceiling other day ,I Put strapping up first .Ceil grid went up fairly easy. Had no problems using 2x4 ceiling tiles. Looks great.

Looks good, but tricky toinstall
Great concept and looks good when installed. Lack of clarity in installation measurements. Cross strips are tricky (23” edge to edge) . Use a tile to measure and ensure centre strip is clear.
