Price was better than I found elsewhere especially when I got my 5% discount using lowes credit card. I trust Lowes for everything else and know if I have an issue Lowes will resolve.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Steven from Tire Age/Condition I have six vehicles, two travel trailers, three watercraft trailers, and three utility trailers plus other wheeled vehicles(over 60 tires on the ground). After purchasing a great utility trailer from Lowe's I went back and to look for a spare for the trailer. To my delight, Lowe's carries the exact same tire on my original trailer already mounted on a matching rim. I checked the DOT date of manufacture on the two tires in stock. One was 3113 and the other three months earlier. I purchased the one that was only 7 months old. After I got it home I tried to inflate it, but it would not hold air as the valve stem was broken at the base. I returned to Lowe's, showed them the defect and they offered me the other older tire. As I was going on a 250 trip to take furniture to my grandson's college, I asked if they would reimburse me $12.50 the cost of a local tire dealer replacing the valve stem. They agreed and 90 minutes later(with me doing all the work) we were all happy. I have made numerous purchases at Lowe's and always end up very satisfied. Maybe Lowe's needs a better quality control on items that might age out(Tires).

If I have a flat on one of the trailer tires I will have this spare available to replace it and continue the project I am working on, without interruption. I recommend that anyone, who has a utility trailer, purchase the tire and wheel!
