so far so good
I bought this a couple of weeks ago, to use instead of regular tape, because i care about the environment. I have not moved yet, so still have to see if it stands up to my move and storage in between. However, so far, I find it is very sticky, seals boxes well, and is very easy to tear by hand, no need for scissors at all. Some of the regular tape that I had previously used is coming off already, so it seems better. Not sure how well it lasts, that is what i am waiting to see, to see if it is more or less or the same as far as cost effectiveness, although as long as it is not too much more money, I would still continue to buy it.

works very well
I bought this several times over the last 3 months to use in packing up my condo for a coming move. My boxes went into storage and for many reasons, I ended up having to take them out and rebox several, so I got to see both how the tape lasts for a few months and how it is to use for packing and how it is to open it up. I would say that at least 90% of the time, it held up extremely well for packing purposes and did not open up. It was far easier to use than the regular plastic tapes that I also had on hand and used for some boxes. I actually gave up on the plastic tape, as it came off more easily, requires a pair of scissors on hand all the time for cutting, and obviously is also bad for the environment. If you don't give a darn about the environment, I would still say this tape is a winner. I carried it around in my car and purse and just ripped it by hand whenever I needed it. When I needed to open up boxes, although they were well sealed, it was not too difficult to do without any tools. Well worth buying, even though my friend gave me her plastic tape to use for free.
