Dure environ 3 1/2 heures
Dans mon poele double combustion EPA avec une cheminée de 33 pieds avec vent faible, un ensemble de 2 bûches m'a duré environ 3 heures 1/2 avec une braise suffisante pour en allumer une autre. Assez bon mais pas les 4 à 6 heures promises.

Got these to use in a wood stove. I definitely understand when they say for heat only, not good for ambiance/flame. I put one in at the end of the night, on a good bed of HOT coals and come morning there is a very good coal bed under a layer of ash. MORE than enough to keep the stove hot to the touch and relight a new fire with kindling. Just remember to either close or almost close the airflow, otherwise the block will burn out faster than intended. I couldn't imagine using this in a fireplace, but works as advertised in a good wood stove with a little care and attention.

Très mauvais choix d'achat
Très mauvais en maintient de "chauffe" du poêle. Prix trop élevé pour le rendu réel de l'arcticle.

Test vérifiable
J`ai acheté ce produit deux fois, ca brule bien mais vraiment pas longtemps, maximum deux heures et je vous invite à venir le vérifier, dans un combustion lente , toute clé fermée au max et deux heures après tout est rendu en braise et se défait très facilement. Le meilleur que j`ai actuellement pour passer une nuit en chaleur et avec de la brais encore présente dans le fond du poêle, c`est une bonne grosse buche d`érable, bien sec sans jus qui sort dans les bouts ( ce qui cause le créosote en fait ) toute clé fermé. Vous êtes invités à venir le vérifier de la facon que vous le voudrez, pour constatez que vos buches brulent bien OUI, mais pas longtemps, Désolé de vous décevoir mais la vraie vérité c`est ca
