Not the heaviest duty one on the market but works as a good homeowner one. My biggest problem was that its a "m" style coupler but does not fit any m universal fit ends. Come to find out their "styles" are different than all others on the market, but under careful review of chart on the back one can determine what works on their own current system..

Rated 5 out of 5 by Shree from Great tool and value [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kobalt coupler was easy to install but had to tighten with a wrench. I would recommend thread tape for an airtight seal. Works as described. It appears to be durable as most Kobalt tools are especially since it is made of steel. I would recommend this coupler to my friends and family.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Christophe from Nice Product, But Didn't Fit My System [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With respect to the product, it is well built. the coupler operated with ease and the parts seemed to have a nice, smooth finish to them. Pay attention to the type of connector that you tend to use. I didn't realize there was a difference between the "Automotive" and "Industrial" connector types, but I learned something new when I discovered that this coupler didn't fit my system as all of my equipment are set up on "Industrial" connectors, not "Automotive."

The threaded end attached easily on my garage hose. Unfortunately the snap on coupling side would not go on to any of my male couplings. It seems the id of the female side was machined to tightly. I compared it with my other couplings and it was just a hair to small.
