Rated 4 out of 5 by heimbig from extra low simmer is not possible, still nice. I had a lot of concerns about the extra low simmer, and it isn't true that all burners can achieve it. the spiral burner no way. and each of the other 3 btu output burners have widely different low out levels. the simmer on the 2 lower output burners does a good job, the 2 high output burners are only ok but only for a very large pot, and the dual ring is either the HIGHEST OUTPUT or on low the LOWEST output - so I find I'm moving pots around. The spiral 'wok' burner works well with a wok or other pots and does not have low simmer. Overall, this is a terrific cooktop with lots of flexibility and features and is a good match with my other Cafe appliances.

The sealed burners prevent spills from dripping down into crevices and the black enamel is very easy to clean with soap and water. It has excellent heat control allowing to cook evenly. It is also ascetically very nice to look at with the stainless steel front and burner knobs. I also love the look of the cabinet drawers underneath. Our pots and pins with lids fit so conveniently below. We absolutely love it and are very happy with our purchase!

The appliance is wonderful, it has 4 different types of burners (2x medium, 2 large, 1 spiral burner, 1 double burner). We love utilizing our double burner! It works great for woks and sautéed food. All the burners are fast and elegantly designed. Our only issue is that there is no small grate to put our Moka Pot! We love our coffee and we love our moka pot but we aren't able to make it over this gas range. I would still recommend getting this - unless you use a moka pot

The other burners on this unit have amazing adjustability. Handles high flame tasks as well as solid simmers. This is the best cooktop I have used in 13 kitchen replacements.

We replaced our GE Monogram 36" cooktop, which was 20 years old and still working great, with this one to match the rest of our Cafe' appliances that we installed with a recent kitchen remodel. I absolutely love this new cooktop!! Not just for the beautiful design, but the functionality of the 6 different burners adds so much versatility and efficiency to my kitchen.
