Very loud!
This review is for the 1.45 A model that is apparently replacing the 1.0 A pictured on the Lowe’s website. It has a transparent case and a sleeker, black design. Although the product does what it needs to (pumps condensation from Air Conditioner), it is extremely loud. The pumping itself is fine, just a mechanical whir as the water moves. But when the pump turns on and off, it makes a loud grating sound. I thought it was just a fluke when plugging it in, but it happens every single time it pumps, turning on and then off again. I couldn't sleep in the room above for all the grating sounds every five minutes. I returned it for another one thinking the unit to be defective but the second one was actually worse. Such a loud grating noise every 5 minutes. I eventually got the 1.0 amp model as they still had one left and it works fine with no grating sounds at all.

Good Quality Pump - Not As Pictured
There are two varieties of the same model # pump. The one pictured (clear plastic) and a solid color version. The web site shows the clear version but what I got was the other. Furnace wiring instructions are sorely lacking clarity. Pump itself is solid.
