Bosch Freak 2-Tool Combo Kit with Batteries and Charger - Bluetooth Connectivity - Brushless Motor is rated 2.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Re GXL18V-251B25 - Freak and Drill combo Rona has a clearance sale on these. Thought I would get a good deal, and bought one set. Checking the dates of manufacture, both tools in set seemed to have been sitting around at some warehouse for somoe time. Package was sealed, each tool was fitted with its battery. Turned on the Freak, nothing. Tried the Freak's battery on the drill, still nothiing. Put the batteries back on the tools they were originally fitted too, and the frill worked rtight away. So I thought the issue was simply the battery on the Freak needing a charge; I put it on the charger, charger had the steady green light on (i.e. Fully charged in Bosch parlance). The charge indicator on the battery did not show any juice in the battery, yet the charger. I brouoght the drill's battery to a full charge (from one bar on the charge indicator), and it weemed fine. So I packed everything back, and took the package back to the store where I bought it for an exhange. Got a new box (with one seal broken, but shipping straps intact); got home; the box(which seemed to have been iin storage for quite some time, a label on the box showing the store name and number, and a date code translating to June 29. 2019. I opened the box alter tonight, contents looked nice in the box, until I noticed there was only one battery in the package. I repacked eveyring and will take it back to the store; this time, I will not leave the store until everything proves to be in working condition... I hope I can find a complete, working package, and review it some more
