Description

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chuck from Really good drill for price and size Used this compact drill the past month to drill holes for anchors (tapcon) to hang signs, plaques, and banners with. The wall is concrete block and the hammer drill function makes pretty quick work of it. Easy to switch to driver mode and fasten the anchors with a nut driver. The only time it binds is when I am holding the drill at a slight angle or applying too much pressure. A little patience and skill with the variable trigger seems to be the key. Drill bit has fallen out of the chuck a few times...not sure if that is the fault of the drill or my inexperience. The LED light helps even during times when you wouldn't think it would. The 4 amp battery makes this an even better deal and the bag is a nice touch too. The powerful battery is still small enough to keep this a compact drill.

I decided to go ahead and buy one for myself and was looking at several different models and decided on purchasing this. I ran the red tool and then the Bosch to compare and was surprised to see how quickly the Bosch hammered the hole. No regrets in purchasing this tool. Think I’ll buy Bosch from now on

The low torque mode has such trigger control, if you barely pull the trigger, it takes about 10 seconds for the chuck to turn one time. This is the most precise drill I've ever used. I have 36v drills, M12 and M18, and the 20v lineup of the competition, this is the loudest drill out of all of them. If you are sensitive to sound, wear hearing protection. This drill will stop if it locks up, protecting you from breaking some fingers.

I prefer Bosch in general for the over all quality and longevity—they just simply seem to hold up better over time, saving both time and money. Anyway that’s been my experience and that of family who depend on power tools for their work.
