Excellent German steel bits, great case
These are high quality, German steel, made in Germany bits. If you are drilling concrete, They must be used with a real rotary hammer, not a cheapo all in one drill that has claims to have a hammer setting. Unlike twist drills in wood, the quality of the hammer drill determines most of the effectiveness in drilling in concrete. I have two real Bosch rotary hammerdrills and these bits work perfectly, in high strength cured concrete. I also have an expensive drill drill with so called hammer functions and it's a waste of time. Use the proper tool. Only bad workmen blame the tool.

Good bits as long as you dont need deep holes
I agree that the reviewers who had issues, most likely werent using a roto hammer that is appropriate, or even using a roto hammer at all, but a drill. I bought these in a pinch to replace a full set of much longer Hilti SDS bits ($1,000.00) and they did just fine. Carbide, is carbide. If you try and use them with a drill motor, youll grow old in the time it will take you to drill a few holes. Know what tool is best, know what youre doing.

Clean, easy, effective drilling.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used several brands of masonry bits over the years and these stomp the competition. From the specially shaped tips, to the fluting, to the wear indicators. I've honestly never seen a bit create as clean and round a hole as these do. Highly recommended. The only complaint I have is with the case. There's no retainer on the red bit holders so as you open the case they tend to tilt out immediately. Clearly, this is a minor issue in the grand scheme of things.

Excellent
First off, I had to laugh at the review from the guy using these in a hammer drill... These are for an SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer, big difference. I used these to drill into a foundation for installing Tapcons into a basement bulkhead. Drilled into the concrete like butter.

Did what I needed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked for drilling through some brick so I could hang my tv above my fireplace mantle. However, after using them they seemed to have dulled after the first use. By the time I drilled the 4th hole it was significantly more difficult. Plus the bits were so hot we had to quench them in water which I’m sure hardened them. The product worked for what I needed them to but I’m not sure if they’ll work to the same capacity again.

Great starter set!
After about a half hour of drilling into brick and ruining some bits, I bought this set. Needed a 1/2 inch bit to install and set an anchor into our fireplace. Worked like a charm, in and out of the brick, no problem. It is amazing how much easier things are when you have the right tools. This is a great starter set for those with small projects around the house. I am very pleased with this set.

Awesome!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great all around set of masonry drill bits. Hard to find an actual “set” of masonry bits for some reason but these do not disappoint. Working great for some home projects I have going!
