What is the difference between GSR18V and DDB181-02? I just bought the former and had purchased the latter within 2 years. It drowned :( Price is identical. Thanks
The DDB181 has 350 in/pounds of torque and a max RPM of 1300, vs 480 in/pounds in the GSR180 and 1700 rpm. The other person who answered this question has mistaken the DDB181 for having 600 in/pounds of torque, those are the specs for the DDS181 model.

Bosch 18-Volt 1/2-in Cordless Drill
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This drill was just what I needed. My wrists are weak and I get tired.... I am 74 and not the man that pushed around 700 lb copiers in my working years. I am pleased with the slow speed that allows for metal drilling, as well as slow speed screw starting. Any drill can turn at high speed, but slow and easy is what does the trick, except for aluminum, which requires a higher speed. The high torque is also what I wanted. When screw starting or drilling, more pressure was aplplied, to get those screws in really deep, without buggering their crosspoint heads

Great Drill-Driver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this to replace a Makita that broke in two after a fall. It's light and has plenty of torque to drive 10" lag screws all day. Feels solid and well built in your hand and the variable speed is very precise. I used to manage a woodworking tool store and know that Bosch is one of the top brands. Don't hesitate getting this one.

Excellent Drill
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the best I’ve ever owned!! Only reason I was forced to buy a new one, someone liked mine enough to steal it!! Great Drill for any application I’ve encountered!

Former Milwaukee User
I was a Milwaukee tool user, but found they getting very expensive. First tool to replace was my little 12volt drill. I looked at what was in the stores, but also looked at other brands. The Bosch 12V drill and driver set were less than the Milwaukee drill alone. I thought I'd give it a try and found that the quality was as good or better. Now I also have an 18volt drill at about half the price of the Milwaukee.

good value
I own and use several cordless drills. The Bosch is a quality tool and a good value. It will last , so over time it is a better value than a cheaper tool.

Bosch Cordless - Excellent Choice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third time I have purchased this particular drill. I have one in my RV, my home shop and at my mother-in-law's house 650 miles away so I will have one when I need it to make repairs there.

Good for small jobs
I am used to working with Hilti tools.
This Bosch drill is ABSOLUTELY NOT to the level of performance (strength, endurance and speed) I am used to.
I find this Bosch drill is great for small jobs here and there around the house. But not for sustained half day/whole day work.
Don't know that I would recommend to a friend. Maybe solely because its a quick available "in the meantime" option.
