Amazing gardening tool
Love this tool. I have 10 garden boxes and it works amazing. You can get right down the sides of the boxes because of the auger system. I would recommend this product to anyone. It’s amazing on weeds also just but over the weed and let it eat. Battery does all my boxes with know problem.

Great edger, sorry parts support
For three years this has been a great product. However, it just stopped running. Being an engineer, I took it apart to see if it was something simple. The brushes on the motor are worn out which are usually simple to replace. However, try getting replacement parts! The two stars are for B&D's parts availability. A couple of review sites on line list this edger at or near the top, however I can't recommend it unless you like replacing the entire edger every few years.

Great tool for yard work.
Love it my job is easier now. I couldn't use a shovel the ground was so hard. This machine (Straight out of the box) did the work. It took time and some pushing, but it took the ground to clay the weeds were chewed right out of the soil. A++++++++

Does the job, could be better.
It gets the job done but I wouldn't recommend it over similarly priced equipment.
I just finished edging a sidewalk for the last two hours. The stuff I was cutting through was approximately 4 inches of small ice plant. There are three things that were sorely lacking: 1) a detachable guard; 2) a swing joint on the handle to pivot 180 degrees horizontally relative to the blade and 3) something like a plow or dozer to clear all the dirt and vegetation that was accumulating in front of and below the machine.
That said, it had plenty of power and didn't get stuck. The blade held up despite throwing sparks from frequent contact with rocks and concrete. The spin direction punted the debris away from me, which I appreciated.
It's not bad, but with a few tweaks it could be great.

This cordless unit is so easy to use, loosens soil without ripping up roots, and is excellent around intricate garden beds.

This is good for small garden BUT
It looks good for small gardens, it is really light and easily portable, but after several uses, the blade broke, I bought it last week !!! Also, the battery does not last long, maybe 20 minutes.
