Description

This filter with triple layers traps impurities for fresher, cleaner moisture in your home. It effectively traps dust, dirt and impurities and prevents particles from being re-released into the air. It is featuring an exclusive baking soda layer to deodorize the air. I have two of this bionaire humidifiers that have been running beautifully for the past 4 years and these replacement filters work just as well as the original. I change the wicks once a month but try to soak then in diluted chlorox at least once to get rid of the molds.

I plan to use these as long as my humidifier works...it's been running every night for over 5 years already. I'm extremely happy with this combination.

When I got it out to use it again i didn't think I would be able to get a new filter for my older model. But Holmes had exactly what I needed and at an unbelievable price. My old humodifier works like new.

The humidifier that I use these with is a Holmes and has lasted more years than I can remember. Great products.

What I have to do is buy the larger ones and cut them down. So technically, it is not that the product is poor, it is just frustrating that I have to either cut down a filter, or buy a new humidifier, which I don't need.

I was a little bit apprehensive about ordering my new filters, not knowing for sure if they were the proper ones, but they were exactly what I needed. Delivery was prompt as well. There had been an offer to "Buy 4-Get 4 Free", which I did, but only received 4, instead of 8. I contacted Customer Service and they promptly amended the situation and shipped the additional 4 filters with their deepest regrets. I will absolutely purchase from them again!

First, when I installed it, the dial on the humidifier never went out of the "red"/used zone. Then, the humidity level in my room where it is never goes above 21%. Past filters have taken it up as high as 45%. So, is it the same thing? I don't know.

Rated 4 out of 5 by rannynm from Filter worked great but whole unit stopped working I was delighted to get this filter, put it into our unit and it worked like a charm for a couple of weeks. Then, the whole thing stopped working altogether. I think the motor went out or something. It started making noises, like someone gurgling in the corner and then, just stopped. Do you repair these or do I have to purchase a new one?

Rated 5 out of 5 by Robf from Exact replacement for my humidifier's pads These disposable pads should be changed every 3 weeks of use, to prevent airborne mold. The "permanent" pads that came with the humidifier were difficult to clean well and came apart after 2 years of use. This is the preferred solution. I ordered a case, which should be a season's supply, and got free shipping.

I actually haven't used them because I haven't used the humidifier for the last month due to warmer weather and less dry air in the house. They look like they will work just fine, though, and I will have them ready to go when so need them next winter.

I put new ones in only a couple weeks ago and already the meter is showing I need to change them again. Maybe it's time I look for a new humidifier manufacturer that supplies me with filters that last longer than a couple weeks.

The black backing falls apart leaving black bits everywhere. They don't last and are cheaply made. I just inserted the second set of filters. I own the whole entire humidifier for one month.

I keep the humidifier in my bedroom, and close the door at night to maximize the effectiveness when I sleep. These filters are essential to keep it running properly.

It's all in how you manage water levels and flipping filter from dry to wet. For this price it is great value. I would recommend.

If I use water from the water softener, the filters only last 2 weeks... They build up a white residue very quickly from the water softener. Check your water for extended filter life.

The replacement clogged pretty fast and I was able to clean it and it is working but according to the gauge it is going downhill fast.
