[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an absolute gem of a hammer this is. I've had some lighter picks over the years, but this weight has just the right amount of inertia when it hits the rock pile. This one at 22oz seems to be the perfect weight for cracking open rocks, also the prying leverage is excellent. It's made from a solid piece of steel, so you don't have to worry about breaking the handle way back in the mountain streams. It's USA made, and as a veteran, this means a lot to me. Beginner or pro rock hounds, this is the go to hammer.

Well crafted hammer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchase 3 of these each time I go to the Dominican Republic to help build houses. The houses are made of rebar and concrete block and most of the masons are using regular hammers with wooden handles. The only brick hammers I could find there have wooden handles. It is with great satisfaction when I go there even 9 years later and see them still using these hammers.

Great Rock Hammer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Son found this easy to use and very effective for our fossil trip. Not necessarily the conventional use, but it worked perfectly for splitting shale stone and other rocks. Weight and balance were terrific and the blade was sharp enough.

She’s a brick hammer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looks good, contoured handle reduces fatigue, also using as a pick hammer! Perfect for concrete patching and rock work!
