Blue Lights Don't Work!
I ordered the Bell+Howell Grow Burst LED...Growth Lamp but I received the Bell+Howell Bionic Grow LED...Grow Light. Same thing with a different name? Regardless, the Bionic Grow Light purchased online came with only a USB cord. The Product specification on the RONA website (would be provided by the manufacturer) states it has 2 power options (USB or AC power plug) which implies you can use either one. The info on the box doesn't mention that it's not directly compatible with an AC power socket OR that you have to purchase a separate power adapter for the USB cord if you don't have a Computer nearby. I purchased the lights for my garden seedlings (no Computer nearby). The Blue light is supposed to be for seedling growth and the Red light for flowering. There's also a mixed Blue and Red light option. Sometimes the Blue light won't work at all or only two of the lights will be Blue and one is off, other times it starts as Blue then reverts to the mixed Blue and Red. Not very efficient.

The Bell+Howell Bionic Grow...Grow Lights come with USB power cords. Depending on the height of your plants or seedlings, the stand that's included does not help to keep the lamp from tipping over and the clip does not fit every plant stand. There is nowhere in the website specs (would be provided by the manufacturer) or the box that states you must either purchase a separate adapter, have a computer nearby or use the adapter from your Android device. According to the B+H Customer Service person I spoke with, Apple adapters are not strong enough to power this so if you only have Apple devices you're sol. If that information had been available on the website or even on the box I would not have wasted my time to order them. By the condition of the boxes (original seals were cut) I'm not the first one to return them.

Portable grow light
This light works great so far. I have it clipped on to one of my plant pots. I have aimed the three lights so they span two plants. It's been three weeks and one of my plants has sprouted some new, healthy leaves. I like that the lights turn themselves on every morning and shut themselves off in the evening.

Je suis très satisfaite de cet article. Je me demande par contre pourquoi ne pas avoir une prise électrique régulière plutôt qu'une prise usb qui nous oblige à monopoliser un bloc de recharge. Pour cette raison, j'aurais aussi apprécié un fil plus long.
