Rated 1 out of 5 by Roro51 from Looks HORRIBLE!! I special ordered this countertop ( paid an extra $50j so that it didn’t have the lip up at the back. After waiting over a month, it arrived and I’m disappointed with the company and how it looks. Don’t even want to install it. First, I had a friend pick it up with their truck and when they did it was not wrapped or in a box etc. to provide any protection. Rona Manager said “this is how the manufacturer ships to them”. The end was damaged but it was at the end that would need to be cut a few inches so I said ok. When I got to have a look a the countertop the pattern is completely different from one end to the other. Being Basalt Slate you would think that can’t happen right? There is a big white swirl at one end and then matte black at the other. Makes it look very uneven and CHEAP!!!! Judging from how my order was shipped/arrived and how it looked, this company doesn’t have any sort of quality control or any sort of standard/pride in what they make. I’m just so disappointed!!!!
