Description

strong when nailed into studs and sill plate
I used this to strengthen a stud wall in a cottage by adding a diagonal brace on the inside of an exterior wall. The galvanised steel is strong material and needs to be cut using a grinder. If you are nailing through it using a hammer, it is best to start a hole/depression first using a nail punch since it is difficult to drill a hole through it. I used a circular saw to cut a shallow trough for the T bar to fit in to so that the strap could fit flush. It does the job.
