Chickadees loves it !
We hang this 2 days ago and it has attracted cute little chickadees within the hour. The come back a few times a days since. The bell is holding well together after a day of rain and it has not created any mess on the ground up to now. It very convenient to attract birds before hanging suet for the winter. No need of an other kind of feeder and not messy (at least for now). I would recommend to anyone who is unsure if they can attract birds in a location before investing in better set-up or if they just want to convenience of it.
