Read the instructions before reviewing.
I had the same issue as MISSYGILL, it did nothing, not even a click. Reread the instructions and noticed the negative cable was not connected to the battery. It is shipped this way.
Cable on, started up and runs great. Much faster than a tractor type mower, no need to reverse at the end of each row.. I love the zero turn and ease of steering around things.
So much more comfortable and easier to drive, almost effortless.
The seat material looks superior to any other other mower we’ve look at and is very comfortable.

Very unsatisfied. Problems starting.
I just purchased this mower today. It will not start and dies not even click. So far I am very unsatisfied with this brand. The Ariens is brand new and not pre-owned. I would not recommend Ariens mowers.

Bought my first z-turn mower and I really enjoy it, 42 inch cut saves me time cutting m1.5 acre...even faster than the 48 inch tractor I had before...This Ariens Edge is built very Solid, maneuvers very well and an Ariens Deals is in my home town of Caro Mi. now...Great people and service there...Love my Ariens Edge 42 "
