Ariens Deluxe 28
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No need to overpay for high-end throwers, the Deluxe 28 is sturdy and performs as a 28" snow blower should. A little disappointed with the plastic choke/throttle controls...too much slop in the movement. I expect those will fail on me first. Nevertheless, should get several North Idaho winters out of this unit before needing to repair/replace. Interested consumers might consider splurging for the 28 SHO or Deluxe 30 with their larger engines, 306cc vice the 264cc, especially if wet, heavy snow is common in your locale. Mostly light, dry snow up here, and the Deluxe 28 does the job quite well.

Ariens 28” deluxe snow blower
It works... and very well at that. Made a path through 3’ of snow with no issues. Pitches rocks like a darn as well, ahem.
Setup was easy by myself and it starts on the first or second pull. I tried the electric starter at -31 C and it worked flawlessly.
Lots of power and the chute functions nicely.
Tires are decently grippy and the machine is easy to steer. The power steering worked so well as to make you forget some don’t spin so easily.
My one complaint is the LED lens allows light to point a bit upwards so I can’t see the control instructions very well at night in an unlit yard.
Service was excellent. I bought it online and picked it up.

Passed the test
We finally got hit with enough snow to put it to use. My driveway is 400 feet long and has a significant hill. The machine did well clearing the but I did have some small issues. During my first significant use, the engine stalled a few times. Each time I was able to restart with the hand starter after a couple of minutes. This problem did not recur during the next 2 uses. The other minor issue occurs heading downhill. The easy turn feature seemed to kick in making it necessary keep course correcting just to remain in a straight line. I definitely appreciated the electric start. There is no switch for the light. It remains on while the unit is running.

Tracking
Purchased on 12/1/20 and used twice. Had the tracking problem of pulling to the right. On a level surface, I noticed when the front is lifted and slowly let back down, the right side hits a half inch before the left side does. Looked at the steel skids and the right side is worn twice as far as the left. It would appear the main housing is not square and causing the right side to ride with more pressure causing the tracking problem and excessive wear. Not sure yet if the scraper bar can be adjusted to correct this. I am still within the return period and haven’t decided yet if I’m going to take it back.

Buy it now!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this snowblower after much research & reading many reviews online. This thing is built like a tank. The engine pull starts so easy when it's cold that you don't even need the electric start. My wife was able to start it easily with one pull. Seriously, this thing laughs at anything you throw at it. It has tons of torque! The best thing of all is the made in the USA sticker. The headlight was much brighter than I expected. Lights up the work area well. It's a beast! Buy it now!

Snow Far, Snow good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Owned for less than 2 months. Got huge snow storm, powered through all of it. Nice fluffy white snow. Wife started this 2 days into ownership all by herself. It was so easy to operate, she decided to just do it on her own. Got home, driveway was completed! I have powered this through 38 inches as of snow (storm 1/20/2019 Vermont), I dumped off my deck into the pathway (measured chest height, I', 5'4")- slowly, keeping 1/4 throttle, and auger on,,,,it ate through no problem. 5 starts, if it came with a better chute mover thingy... but overall, very happy with machine. No clogs in chute. Fast! 1st gear is fast compared to what I'm used to. No complaints thus far.

Excellent snowblower
So far so good IT worked out of the box clear wet heavy snow with ease. see People complaining about the controls the controls were easy to use and the machine works ONE-Handed. Drive controls are in the Middle, the shoot is on the right but it was easy with no issues, someone complained about the quality being Poor, and they had to get it repaired, here is a clue look at the product Page it has a 5 year warranty, so register it online and get it fixed... Unless they are leaving reviews for the wrong Product.

WOW!!!!! What a difference
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this just a couple of days ago for a pending big storm. Or I should say a big storm for us. It dropped 13" of snow over night. This thing chewed up the snow like nothing. Had to make two passes on most of the paths to get it all down to concrete but still beats shoveling any day. I only have a few "bad' things. Not really bad but at least for me it would have been nice to have the drive controls switched with the auger controls. Would make maneuvering it while blowing snow a lot easier. I can't complain at all. Saved me a lot of work. Didn't really have any issues with engine bogging down. 13" I was not expecting to blow through it at 100 miles an hour. Worked great. Plus it's made in America.
