Description
Maximize home comfort with the Arctic King air conditioner. It is Energy Star certified to save up to 10% of energy. This window air conditioner has a cooling rating of 12,000 BTU for high performance and maximum coverage of up to 550 sq ft. It comes with a remote control which grants control over the 3 speed settings and enables adjustment of temperature between 17°C and 30°C.

What is the exact height of the body?...the part that goes through the window, my window is 15 inches high, that measurement is from the bottom of the window frame lip and up to the bottom of the window opening.

3 jours que je magasine pour un climatiseur puissant et avec prix raisonnable le meilleure etais ce fameux clim j avais des doutte pour mon choix puisque j ai pas trouvé assez d évaluations appart les commentaires pour les mesures quand j ai l'installer c est impressionnant 1h30 a refroidie mon 4 1/2 ce que j ai aimé plus il est silencieux comparent avec mon encien hair 12000 btu acheté 2011

Exceeded my expectation
Bought this A/C unit for the cottage during a record heat save. 36 feeling 43. Got to the cottage And the main living Space of about 400sqf on the ground floor (with regular ceiling height) was at 32 degrees. Within 2 hours of installation, temperature dropped to 23 degrees with all curtains shut. Reasonably quiet/loud as expected for this type of unit at this privé range (IMO) ...
Fairly easy to install but required 2 people for my setup.
Can’t comment on reliability as it’s brand new.
Bottom line, very happy so far. Exceeded my expectations

Installer en quelque minutes et 1 heures après mon appart étais refroidis énorme différence avec mon ancien celui ci est puissant et silencieux en mode automatique c'est parfait il arrête et repart pour maintenir la température désiré et économise l énergie

She blows cold!
Nice and cool, and definitely only 19" wide without the wings (which is what I was worried about when I saw two dimensions in the listing). What I did because it was a smaller window, was skip the plastic wings and just put a metal bracket across the top to keep it in the window. I am MUCH happier at home with this, although it arrived too late for the 45 degree heat wave. It has a remote control!! I would recommend turning off the power saving mode initially to get it to cool the place down solidly.

AC compressor won’t shut off
Unit worked well for 2 hot and humid Montreal summers. End of summer last year I started to notice it was just always running even when set to a higher temp like 23. Thought it was just tired so I unplugged it for a good 24-36 hours. Upon plugging it back in the compress automatically started running. I didn’t even turn the AC on. Fast forward to this summer. Unit was installed a few days ago and it started out fine but today notices that although it was set to 22 my living room was 18 and compressor wouldn’t stop running. Even when unit was shut off. Disappointed in this unit. Waste of money for 2 summers.

Fails to Deliver
I replaced my previous 12,000 BTU of 10 years to cool my living room and this does not compare, on the highest setting it barely keeps the room comfortable but will not make you cool at all, a real disappointment.

Broke after 4 months
It broke after 4 months. We only realized it after 10 months that it was broken.. we need to find the invoice now to hopefully get a replacement for the warranty

Quit after three years
This unit worked well for only three years. In the fourth year it wouldn't even cool my living room when the temperature outside was 25. Now only after three years I have to buy a new unit. I will never buy an Arctic king again.
