In regard to your question, your installation location should meet the following requirements: Make sure that you install your unit on an even surface to minimize noise and vibration. The unit must be installed near a grounded plug, and the Collection Tray Drain (found on the back of the unit) must be accessible. The unit should be located at least 30 cm (12") from the nearest wall to ensure proper air conditioning. DO NOT cover the Intakes, Outlets or Remote Signal Receptor of the unit, as this could cause damage to the unit. The Window Installation Kit fits windows 67.5-123 cm(26.5-48”) and can be shortened for smaller windows. Arctic King Customer Care.

Does this unit run on cool mode continually at night? Do not want unit to turn off once it gets to a certain temperature

The cool temperature will continue to run, please keep the temperature within a range of 17°C~30°C/62°F~86°F. I have an MPPH-10CRN1-BIO 10,000 BTU. Bought it July 2020 and it has worked great. Started it up about 2 weeks ago and yesterday(19 June 2021) it started producing a kind of burnt odour after cooling cycle has ended. No smoke but strong odour. Help!!

Hottest Calgary Summer EVER... My Salvation
I bought this 7000 BTU Arctic King air conditioner a few weeks ago, and am so happy I did! It was super easy to install, looks nice, and most importantly makes a huge difference in my unbelievably hot home. It has required no draining after regular use, even though I constantly run a humidifier. I use this in my main living area, I seriously can't imagine using it in a small room (it would easily be too cold). It isn't quiet, but from my experience only mini splits are, and those are at a higher price point/require special installation. The remote has awesome additional features that are not accessible without it, happily it came with working batteries (another plus). For what this is it's been fantastic, and so far has completely met my hopes/expectations :)

Works, but barely
Bought it a few months ago we wanted something that could cool the whole house since our last one, which was 8000btu did. Fired this puppy up and boy does it only kinda cool. It works, but only if your directly in front of it and on its lowest setting it’s like your sitting in a lukewarm pool. As soon as you move out of the stream of the thing it’s as till hot.
We even put up sheets near the doorways so that the cold stays in the living room which is 10x14 and it barely keeps that little areas cool.
Thankfully I haven’t had the leaking issues that others had but I wouldn’t recommend this unit to keep you cool unless you wanna park yourself in front of the fan.

Simple and efficient
Bought this for our bedroom during the summer heat wave and it’s been a sleep saver. No more losing sleep from the heat. It was easy to set up, very user friendly and overall pleased with air quality.
Con: can be quite loud for those that prefer quiet AC system (for us, we didn’t mind this at all)

I bought this may of 2019 . I used a large covered pail to collect the water . By end of eight hour shift at work ...always had to dump the almost full to top drain pail. In other words ...don't leave home for longer than 9 hours or you may have a pail overflow.
Kept livingroom , kitchen and bedroom cool enough.
Love be in an apartment building that even in winter ( radiator) it is hot like a sauna.
Was glad to only go a couple of summers without an airconditioner.
It was so hot at my building someone complained to Cornwall. Housing stating it is unhealthy to have your dwelling heat well near 35 degrees
Celsius everyday. Open our windows was what the landlord solution was.
Good airconditioner.

Awesome Portable A/C!
Purchased 3 of these units when on sale. I have crank out windows and YES it's easy to install it and all you have to do is cut a board the size of your window frame and use a jigsaw to cutout your hole for the exhaust tube. Using self tapping screws is ideal for if you are tapping it directly into the frame like I did for proper sealing.

Overall very good
I bought this unit on June 27 2019 and I set it up in 20 minutes. It cooled my bachelor apartment in less than 16 minutes. I gave only four stars because it is a bit noisy. Overall very good appliance. Paid $ 388 taxes included.

Before buying check to see if reusesbe filter is in it I bought one great machine but the filters are missing at Tillicum one don't let them convince you the grill is the filter like they tried the filter goes in grill they can't catch anything not happy they opened two up no filters the display has no filters

Ce climatiseur est une déception absolue.
Il n’arrive pas à tempérer une pièce de 160 pied carré. Et encore moin , 450 pied carré comme la description le suggère. Il est mobile , certe mais encombrant.
J’ai chaud !!! !
