Garbage
I bought this 3 years ago this is the third year and the first year it was fantastic this year it's absolutely garbage. It won't go below 75 degrees and there's a smell coming out of it. Don't waste your money on this.

Un moteur d'avion dans mon salon
Le climatiseur fonctionne bien pour un espace ouvert mais il faut au moins deux ventilateurs pour pousser un peu d'air frais dans les autres pièces de mon petit 4 1/2. Quant au bruit, OUCH. Beaucoup plus près d'un aspirateur que d'un ventilateur, 65 DB en mode déshumidificateur (selon une application installée sur mon téléphone). Déconseillé pour une chambre à coucher, pas idéal pour un bureau (trop bruyant pour une vidéoconference) et même à proscrire pour salon (impossible d'écouter un film quand il fonctionne).
Bref, il faut avoir très chaud pour justifier l'inconfort sonore qu'occasionne sa mise en marche. Si c'était à refaire, j'accorderais beaucoup plus d'importance au niveau sonore et éviterais les produits pour lesquels les décibels ne sont pas indiqués.
La seule consolation est pour mes voisins, qui n'ont pas à endurer le bruit d'un climatiseur de fenêtre. C'était une de mes motivations mais franchement, le don de soi a des limites...

Ne fait pas dans la porte patio
cet article ne fait pas dans ma porte patio car les planches extensibles sont trop courte. La dimension aurait du être clairement indiquée dans le descriptif sur le Web. J'ai envoyé un courriel au service à la clientèle de Rona il y a 2 semaines et toujours pas de réponse.

Terrible
I bought this unit two years ago. It worked well for a couple of months, but then stopped working effectively despite continuously maintaining the unit as laid out in the guide. Now it sprays water out the top vent after it runs for about 20 minutes. I have to lay towels on the floor around the unit in order to use it. I've called and emailed the company that holds the warranty several times over the last few weeks, but it's impossible to reach them and they don't respond to voicemails or emails. I'll never buy Arctic King again!

Room finally cool!
I bought this yesterday, after five days of trying to get my wall mounted air conditioner fixed, which it still is not, on one of the hottest days, I could no longer take how hot my bedroom was, so off we went to get something to solve our problem. Set up was a breeze, and in no time my room was being cooled down, it was that fast. So far so good.

J'ai acheté. ce climatiseur et vraiment facile a installer peu d'entretien mais peu efficace. Malheureusement déçu. Un climatiseur de fenêtre a 5000 but est plus efficace que portatif a 12 000 but :(
