A nice little bird bath
I bought this bath because my old concrete bath tipped over in a rain deluge and cracked. I wanted something bigger and heavier but this has performed well. I am getting older and i can easily carry it, yet it is stable when shoved well into the soil. I like that the basin is smooth - some of the more decoratve baths are more difficult to wash (they all get a bit of scum after a while in the hot sun, even though I change the water daily) and the basin is a decent size.

Two years and still working great
I live in Calgary in this birdbath has held up very nicely. I did store in garage over the winter which I think will give it a longer lifespan. Because the price is so reasonable I was only expecting a years use out of the bath but I think I will gat at least 3 years minimum. Little birds love this bath. I had a larger bird bath previously which attached larger birds such as pigeons but the smaller size bath seems to mean smaller birds.

Not suitable for cold climate
Developed a crack in the basin after one winter, rendering it useless, then gradually fell apart. Concrete plus fibre composition not a good choice for our climate. If purchased, you need to bring it inside for the winter.

Bad quality material.
Bought this item last year in May. Just doing yard clean up today
and discovered it has a whole in the bath area. Very disappointed
in this product not even a year old.

Strong and sturdy
Very sturdy, even in high winds considering how light weight it is. Removable top makes for easy refilling, cleaning and storing.

Disintegrating
I searched everywhere for my ideal bird bath and thought this one was it. One year later, it has just disintegrated. Chunks are just falling off of it, it now leaks and it is useless to me. I thought I was buying concrete, but obviously it is not.

Nice looking, but does not last
The bath section developed a crack and water seeped into the base. Can only use the top as a bird feeder now. The pedestal base has fallen apart - looks like it decayed.

Very poor construction
Had one for 2 years, always stored inside in winter. It cracked and fell apart. Very poor materials and construction. Bowl is made of poor concrete with a styrofoam filler and then a very thin layer of fibreglas and concrete on top of that. Definitely not made to last and not to be left outside in winter. A plastic dishpan on top of the column would last 10 times longer.
