Disappointed in the quality of glaze finish.
I purchased this sink 4 times in order to find one that didn’t have issues with the quality of the glazed finish. The first sink was the worst. It had terrible pit marks and black specs in the glaze. The glaze around the edge of the overflow drain was very rough and sharp. Would be very difficult to wipe clean. Sink #2 & 3 had similar issues. All these sinks were new manufactured and bought from a reputable store. The fourth sink I bought was in a dusty box that was buried in their inventory. Maybe it was old stock because it had minimal pitting in the glaze. Unfortunately there was a black spec in the glaze but at least it’s only one spec and the finish of the overflow drain is smooth.
I was looking forward to installing the Studio sink in my newly renovated bathroom but I’m very disappointed in the quality control. Unfortunately my vanity countertop was cut to fit the American Standard Studio sink so I will have to accept the black fleck in the glaze.

Dont put in hot water!
Installed this sink and shortly thereafter, needed it filled with hot water. It only got 1/2 way up to the overflow hole when there was a loud bang. Searched for the cause, and found water leaking under the sink. Discovered that it had an 8" long crack at the bottom of the sink, nearest where it goes up the back of it to the taps.

This sink is a great size and really modernizes our small second bathroom.
