Description

This American Standard high-efficiency Sonoma toilet offers great value, style and performance. It delivers optimal flush performance and also features a 16.5-inch rim height for improved ease of use and comfort. Its elongated siphon action bowl with direct fed jet provides excellent rim wash at every flush, meaning that you won't have to scrub it as often. This toilet's 2-inch flapper flush valve and patented Pilot valve water control meet EPA WaterSense criteria. This model is backed by a 2-year limited warranty.

What are the things included in the box? including bowl, tank, seat, wax ring and floor hardware or only the bowl and tank?

This was a couple of years ago now, but if I remember right everything was in the box including the wax ring and hardware. We had them installed, but the process was quick and free of hassle. Good toilets too. Flushes are quick and uneventful and the tank fills before you can finish washing your hands. All good.

The instructions were in the box. It came with everything you need to do the installation even the wax seal. I made the mistake of buying an extra seal because I didn’t know it came with that as well

Is the flanged height level with the subfloor

The flange is usually set above the flooring(about 1/2 inch) not sub floor. At least in our case that was the situation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by one fat red from Quick/ efficient/water-saving flush Replaced an inefficient, annoying. low-flush, standard-height toilet with this beauty wondering if I was just getting an equally inefficient 'comfort height' one. NOT SO!!! After an easy install, this one flushes immediately with one light push on the lever and takes EVERYTHING away with what seems like minimal water. No more holding the lever down so the tank would disgorge enough water to take even toilet tissue away. No more 2nd & third flushes to accomplish what this new one does with the first. Can't say much about the esthetics...for after all, a toilet is a toilet is a toilet, but THIS IS A TOILET THAT WORKS EXTREMELY WELL (and the price was GREAT too!)

I decided to look for a cure for the calluses in my palm from constantly using the plunger. Saw this model on sale and read a lot of positive reviews and decided to give this product a shot. Boy was I happy, the installation was easy and quick....about 1hr. The plush is swift and powerful, I am also impressed at how quiet it is when water is refilling the tank unlike most toilets...great engineering feat! Would highly recommend to anyone who look for a quality toilet that's kind to your wallet.

The only negative is that the diagram and instructions were not all that clear at times, so we had to make a couple of "executive" decisions. So far we are pleased with the look and function of the toilets. Seems to flush all waste extremely well even with the low water volume. Of course the real test will be time. Will return with an addendum to this if we have problems, but right now would highly recommend the American Standard Sonoma toilet!

Saw them on sale for an amazing price that we couldn't turn down. Huge difference both aesthetically and in terms of efficiency. Quiet flush and a quick powerful one. We hired someone to install who said it was super easy. only have had them in for a few days but so far so good!

Easy to install and comes with all necessary parts, including a combined wax ring & plastic funnel for a really good seal. Comfortable height and good quality seat. Easy to adjust water level in tank so even less water is used per flush.

Easy to assemble; tank bolts are always tricky but they work just fine. Don't over tighten or you'll crack the bowl or the tank, but don't under tighten or they'll leak. Hope that helps...
