What if you left the house with your phone and the wife and kids are home and it’s not hooked up to a doorbell how do they know if someone is at the door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Blink Video Doorbell was a cinch to install and can either be wired to an existing home chime or wire-free (has up to two years battery life). The device’s two-way audio quality is good, as well as its video quality, which shows clear images in 1080p HD during the day, and infrared HD at night. Once motion is detected, or someone rings the bell, the Blink Home Monitor app alerts us with notifications that are sent to our device. There are zero subscription fees when using the provided Sync Module 2. I would definitely recommend this weather-resistant camera to others.

Pretty easy to install with good instructions but some difficulty at the end connecting main unit to the base. Found out afterward, only one account can see the camera events. I can't have the rest of my family get events. Plus the camera quality is so fish-eye that I can't recognize any people ringing the doorbell. Pay extra to get a better product, there is a reason that this is cheap.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sbrew09 from Nice, but a little confusing [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how easy this was to wire and I like being able to see who is at the door without actually going to the door, but I don’t understand the module 2 thing and it didn’t really come with any information about it to help me understand what it really does. I did google and I guess I just need to plug it in near the door? I’m not sure. I have a good internet connection, but it takes a long time to give me a live view (10-15 seconds). I haven’t ever had a video doorbell before this brand, so I’m not sure if that’s normal or not. I’m sure once I get more familiar with it I will like it more. It does make me feel safer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living on my side of town, its not the safest so I wanted to get some type of device to give me a bit of added security as well as let me see what was going on outside my door without having to pay an outrageous amount of money. This video doorbell was easy to install even for me. I did it myself within 30 minutes. Its not complicated to start and the video is clear and easy to view. I can sync it with other devices easily as well. It has worked flawlessly for me so far and it alerts me whenever anyone or anything is near. I definitely recommend this product.

The product works well, good video but could be better, but the peace of mind that it gives you when someone is at the door. It’s not just a door bell it’s a security camera, too. It does have a lag, a few seconds, but it works fine. Simple to install. It can alert you on your phone or you can have a compatible device like an Echo dot speaker to inform your house there’s someone at the door. I really like it and their app too. I would definitely recommend it

This way I could let a delivery person into my home if I needed to for a package delivery. So far I'm liking the video doorbell and my only complaint was that it took too long to set up. There were a few times when the Sync Module and Doorbell could not connect to my Wi-Fi during installation despite being right next to my router. During use, that has not been a problem and I hope it stays that way otherwise it will serve less use.

This doorbell was fairly easy to install, however it was a bit difficult installing the mount. This is okay, as it is very secure now. The module was easy to install and everything was easy to set up in the App. I love that everything is connected through Alexa! And I am happy with the video quality. Planning to get a USB for extra video storage, but overall happy with this doorbell!
