Allen + Roth Steel Gazebo - 10-ft x 12-ft - With Curtain and Netting - Brown is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 866.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! By far, this gazebo is better than the one I'd previously had from Target. I looked all over for a replacement since my old gazebo needed to go, this was the nicest one I'd found and the price was better than some of the lesser quality gazebos I'd seen elsewhere. Seems very sturdy and should stand up to the heavy winds and hail we sometimes get here in the Poconos during summer thunderstorms. I purchased this with an extra canopy for future use and with the tealight chandelier. It looks amazing on my deck! Cannot wait to entertain this summer so everyone can see it. I'm very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Happy Sure, the assembly was a bit difficult but certainly not impossible. One thing I would STRONGLY suggest is...if you don't have a socket wrench with allen wrench sockets, go get one. If I had to assemble this thing with the allen wrench the manufacturer provided, I would have taken my own life. Trust me, you'll be glad you did. Overall, the gazebo looks great and feels extremely sturdy. I used masonry screws and secured it to my patio and it feels very stable. In fact, we had a severe thunderstorm with gusts up to 80mph last night and the gazebo held up just fine. My only complaint is that a few of the parts were damaged out of the box. Nothing major, but still...kind of annoying.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the gazebo. The roof sheds water very well. Here in the midwest we have had a ton of rain this Spring. I think it's worth what we paid for it. We did have issues with putting it together. Several parts were defective. We had to call and wait for the replacment parts to be sent to us. We had to do this 3 different times. So I would suggest looking at every part and making sure there are no defects so you only have to deal with it one time. We're assuming we'll have to replace the cover every 1-2 years. This was way cheaper than having a screen room built of the same size.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Warranty support The gazebo is beautiful, not that bad to put together and you can't do it yourself. Put all the screens, curtains, and roof away for winter. Over the winter, water seemed into two of support arches, froze, and blew the tubes from square to circular. Thus splitting the paint and cracking the metal. This happened in two locations. Called Allen and Roth and they will not cover it under warranty. This should be deemed as normal use. When you call it permanent, it can be left out and when you leave things out in New England, it gets cold and the manufacturer knows this. Either don't sell it in climates where this can occur or cover it under warranty and manufacture a product that withstands the climate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gazebo! Well worth the money! We put this gazebo up 3 yrs ago to provide shade for our deck. Our location gets severe plains storms in spring and winter and full sun exposure. We bolted it to the wooden decking. Have never taken it down, it stays up year round. We do make sure to have the drapes secured to the posts when it is not in use. No tears. No rips. Has stood up to all the storms and heavy snows without damage. We bought extra canopy and drapes when we first purchased it as a precaution but have not needed them yet. Absolutely LOVE this gazebo. We have lights and a fan (by Allen and Roth) inside the gazebo and have spent many a pleasant day and evening with friends and family under its canopy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Product Don't usually write reviews but I got on this evening looking for a replacement canopy and I figured why not. We've had ours for 1 1/2 years and its held up very well. It has weathered some serious storms and I've never had an issue with the canopy or side panels. We installed ours over our deck and I did bolt the legs to the deck. After securing to the deck it was noticeably more sturdier. Prior to purchasing we looked a several other cheaper options and in the end definitely felt like we were getting a quality product. As to why im buying a new canopy tonight, the canopy is getting ready to be two years old and while I believe the canopy will hold up for a couple more years I just wanted to make sure I had a backup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We Love It Saw it at our local store and fell in love with it. Went on line and read the reviews and the following weekend we bought. it. It wasn't that hard to assemble we did anchor it to our concrete patio. We had a few leaks at first at the seams even after using the liquid seam sealer, but they have sealed themselves. No leaks at all and we have had some nasty storms. Everyone that has been to our house this year loves it. It fits our rectangle table and it's six chairs and two ottomans and we have even added two extra chairs when we had a gathering. Yes we would buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great purchase! We bought this about a year ago and have absolutely loved it since! However, we live in Texas (Hot!) and in a windy area, with no trees. So, after about a year of these conditions, after 2 big storms came thru, we have finally had to replace the canopy, and mosquito netting had already started ripping thanks to my century plants. :O( But, I cannot find replacement privacy sides! I have called Lowes to no avail. There is no website for Allen Roth, or for the manufacturer, Eurow Metals and Plastics. Just a friendly warning. But I do Love our Gazebo! ;O)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Surprised and disappointed one year later... We purchased this gazebo in March, 2012, and being in Chicago, installed it the third week of June 2012. The gazebo is beautiful, it really helps to extend our living space to the outdoors. However, we're putting it back up the week before Memorial Day, 2013, and are so disappointed in the amount of rust on the canopy (curved roof) frame. $500 for a product that we expected to be much better quality and more long-lived than it is. Less than a year old and this is what we're dealing with? If we knew we were only going to get 1-2 seasons from it, we could have bought a much less-expensive product with the same end-result. We'll contact Allen & Roth to see if they stand behind their product. Will post results after dealing with them...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from In love with this gazebo [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This gazebo is very heavy. We bolted it to a wooden deck. The top lasted for 2 summers- May to Nov.The material weakens from the sun. Withstands winds well, leaks very little during rain storms, provides alot is shade. We always took the top off for winter months and stored it. We replaced the top cover for $100, however, the last year we had an early snow storm that dumped 7 inches of heavy wet snow, our gazebo top railings caved in and tore the top, twisted the support arches. We are now going to replace it with another Allen & Roth. If you get snow, take the top off before it's too late.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap cheap cheap We bought this May 2016 and installed it in July, 2 month's later. We have this on our deck at a campground and had to save our money to afford it. We took it down for the winter second week in October. We put it up again in May of this year and within a few weeks it started to rip on top. Needless to say we could not afford a new one. It now has ripped along each side and another on top. Called the manufacturer three times, they keep telling me someone will call me back. That hasn't happened yet, and I don't suspect they will. What a waste of $580. I have a hard time reading some of these reviews cause I find them VERY UNBELIEVABLE because of the way mine looks after only having it up, for maybe 6 months! Wow!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very popular gazebo Purchased allen + roth Brown Rectangle Screened Gazebo three years ago. I used 3 foot long ground screws to anchor the legs which proved very sturdy. It took four people to put it up. The frame is where you need most number of hands. The rest went together relatively well. It will stand up to 60 mph winds, rain and frost but the sun destroys the cover in one season. We are on the third cover which is cheaper than buying the whole thing. I do like very much its versatility with mosquito netting sides and separate privacy curtains. The frame easily supports an outdoor ceiling fan with lights.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Soft Top Gazebo On The Market! After searching for months for a QUALITY Gazebo, we settled on The Allen + Roth, 10X12 Brown Steel Gazebo. We previously owned a Gazebo and quickly learned that you get what you pay for. Although this Gazebo was about twice as expensive as our first Gazebo, the quality difference is very apparent. The materials used are heavier (meaning more substance), the parts fit together much tighter than the cheap Gazebo and it has already weathered a couple of strong storms before we could get out and disassemble the more fragile parts! Our previous Gazebo started showing wear with the very first wind storm. We plan to keep this Gazebo for a number of years and only expect to retire it when we are able to purchase a "hard topped" Gazebo!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Fabric This is the start of the 3rd summer that I have had this Gazebo installed on my dock. Early in the spring I noticed small rips and tears in the fabric. I looked closely at the rips and realized that they were not caused by blowing or falling debris but by dry rot from the sun’s UV rays. In May a typical spring thunderstorm wind completely destroyed the canopy. I realize that fabric will not last forever when exposed to the sun but is should last longer than two years especially at the price that I paid for the gazebo. I would not recommend this gazebo.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the Money Just bought this an installed it. A Few tips: take all stickers off after you get the main parts together. The J hooks on the screens, do the outside solid panels first, J hooks facing out, screen panels second with J hooks facing in. Unzip the panels after you figure out the short and long sides. 3/8" cement anchors fit the post base plates. Pay attention when putting the cover on and the center hole slides under the bars for the top vent. Place a piece of duct tape on the outside bars and screws to keep them from rubbing on the top. 6 foot light strands do wonders on the inside, diagonal corner to corner, you will need 4 sets. This is very cool and looks great. the material is a little thin but you get what you pay for.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Will not stand up to midwest winter We bought this late July 2017 and absolutely loved it. Provides nice shade and bug free outdoor dining and/or sitting. We removed the canopy for winter storage only to find tubes have leaks which let water in. Water freezes which cause tubes to burst and rust. In all 6 of the 8 sections suffer from what I consider a "materials or workmanship" warranty issue. I expected this to be durable enough to survive one winter. Very disappointed. I'm hoping the Roth & Allen or my local Lowes will rectify this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Manufactures defect Picked up at the store made sure all parts were in the box. Started assembling until it was time to assemble curtain frames, when removed from plastic six out of eight were mangled. The tracks for the screen were bent upside down some were bent outwards, metal in the frame was severly bent and mangled it was a total disaster. I don't know how something this mangled could get past quality control or even if there is a quality control, I was very disappointed because I had bought this to use for the holiday, then had to rent a truck to take it back to the store. Never again Allen-Roth. See pictures, this was not done because of shipping or handling it came from the factory all bent up and twisted.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good looking and easy to assemble It took about 2 1/2 hours to completely assemble the gazebo with my 14 year old daughters help. It was not to difficult but the directions are very vague and not very detailed. It seems sturdy enough and it will be easy to screw down to the deck to secure it from blowing over in high winds. I like it alot so far, not really any complaints. I intend the take the canvas off in the winter since it does not seem to be a heavy construction cover. I hear that you can buy the canvas seperately online in case it is damaged. Great purchase for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for what we needed We have a stamped concrete patio that get sun almost all day...we love our patio but it gets too hot to enjoy. This is perfect and a good size too. We can draw the sidewalls when needed to shade the table and chairs and still have 3 sides open for some breeze. We actually used large plastic (stone looking) flower pots with preassure treated lumber below & inside to lag the legs too. We then used plastic flexible PVC to protect the legs and filled the pots with stone as our 4 anchor points....and no drilling into our patio. We have about 130 pounds of weight at each leg and it has weathered 2 high wind stomrs no problem so far. We love the extra shade it provides. Dont expecte it to be water proof.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gazebo!!!! We got this gazebo the first part of July. It has been great for warm weather. We utilize our deck A LOT so this has been a God send on 90 degree days. Very solid construction. We did bolt it to our wood deck. Assembly demands minimally 2-3 people. We had a thunderstorm last evening with 50 MPH winds. We kept the curtains pulled back and tied down. The gazebo faired the storm with absolutely no damage. We love this gazebo and would highly recommend it. We will disassemble in the fall due to our hard winters and put it back up in the spring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for outdoor lounging I had my eye on this all last year. I kept waiting for it to go on sale at the end of the season, but it never did. So, I sucked it up and paid full price at the beginning of the year. But, even at full price it's a great value compared to similar gazebos. I have this on the patio area by our pool. My husband and 15 year old son had it put up without much trouble. So, far we have not anchored it to the concrete. We've had some pretty bad storms, including tornado warnings and high winds. I was very surprised, but it didn't move. I don't think it's going to be necessary to anchor it down. We've only had it a couple of months, so I am not sure yet about long term durability. But, the quality seems to be very good.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheaply Made I bought this in July 2015 and by March 2016 it was gone. One brisk wind storm ripped it and broke apart its poles. From July 2015-March 2016 we faithfully took care of it and made sure it was secure in all weather. But one sudden burst of wind destroyed our Gazebo when we were paying attention to something else. Our insurance couldn't cover the cost because of our deductible and Lowes would have had no reason to replace it for us. Over $400.00 blew out of our bank account and we have nothing to show for it. I understand it was human error but We weren't prepared for such a high maintenance product!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Gazebo, but cover doesn't last We purchased this Gazebo 3 years ago. My husband is in Construction, and had no problems putting it together. He anchored it to our patio, so it is very sturdy. I agree with other reviews that hanging the curtains is a HUGE pain in the butt!!! The Gazebo looks great and while the frame is fairly sturdy, the cover is not durable. Ours starting ripping and fading a lot the second season we used. We had to purchase a new cover for it for the third season. Considering the price ($500), we had hoped it would last longer. The only good thing, is that they do sell a replacement cover for ($80). So if you buy this Gazebo, plan on replacing the cover every or every other year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great gazebo for the price This was a great price. I had been looking at gazebo's in stores & online and many of them looked cheap. This one does not look cheap. Be warned it's bigger than it looks. The measurements are right on the money but when you are eyeballing it, it just feels so much bigger after it's put together. One thing I would say, however is that the instructions said that you would need a 5 foot ladder. Unless you are 6'5", you definitely should have a 6 or 7 ft ladder available since it was a stretch with our 6 ft ladder for my husband (he's 5'10") when we were doing the upper most parts of the frame & securing the top canopy part. The instructions also said that it would take about 4 hours, but it took the two of us right at 2 hours to put up. I really love my new gazebo!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy install but bent rail [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I were able to build the frame, without arguing, and the next day with the assistance of my brother-in-law we were able to install the canvas cover and shades. A couple of concerns are a few of the screen and shade rails were bent but with a little bit of effort I was able to bend them back into shape and they worked well. That being said the aluminum frame and rails are soft and I can only hope that it will last at least three years. Also the canvas cover seams look weak so I’m not sure how well it will last with the winds we receive here in Virginia.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Substantial Gazebo We really like this Gazebo. The high arched top sheds water well. Very Victorian. Screens and Flys work well and the corner covers hide them well when not in use. My Wife and I erected and had the top on in about 2 hours. We did the curtains the next day. I think it would have taken much longer if you use the tools provided. I had a good quality open end wrench and a ratcheted hex drive. Bolt and nut assembly went fast. Another helping hand was that we bungi corded one assembled side to the deck railing while we held and assembled the other. Does that count as a third/fourth person? We do really like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Gazebo for my backyard. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All arrived in one box with straight forward instructions. Good quality and easy to assemble, I was able to set it up mostly by myself. Need a slightly tall step ladder and two people to finish the assembly and put the canopy on top. We anchor bolted it to the stone floor due to occasional high winds in the area. So we needed to use concrete anchorbolts for our installation and not to use the supplied soft surface anchors supplied with the unit. Two days for all that and now we are enjoying a beatiful Gazebo in the backyard.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 3 YEARS OLD NOW [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Waited to see how it would last before I wrote a review. getting a third year out of the canopy shows some ware, no problem with frame it survived 2 NH winters. Was easy to assemble I read people complain about assembly but reading reviews in most cases it sounds like from people that should not be allowed to use a screw driver. My son and I took old one Gazebo down put this one up in 3 hours. I do recommend a 10 foot step ladder for the job. I agree canopy should last longer. I also water proofed it. I also bought a replacement canopy for from Garden winds. that is I had take my last one down could not get canopy for after 4 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gazebo We got this gazebo just last week on sale and we are glad that we did. We made the purchase based on online reviews and we absolutely love it. It took me about an hour to put together the basic stuff and I'm not a handyman by any means! But I do recommend having at least 4 people so each one can hang on to the post to make the job easier once everything else has been assembled. Overall, it took us just about 3 hours to assemble the entire gazebo. It seems very sturdy and looks amazing also. Highly recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from still a good idea the apperance is very nice and putting it together went about how I thought it would not too bad but have 2 people. The problem is it is laking on the details mainly the screened curtains. They should have put a bottom tie anchor in the corners like the solid curtains cause in any breeze or wind the bottom blows right up and over the patio chairs and instead of keeping the bugs out actually traps them in. It may have helped if they would have sewen small weights in the bottom of the curtains. Otherwise it has been quite nice to enjoy our backyard in and I would still recommend it just be ready to possibly modify.
