Description
This winter, nothing beats Alaskan ice melter. Effective to -35 degrees Celsius, the newest formulation melts more ice twice faster and lasts longer. Ideal for use on steps, walkways and driveways, it is gentle on hard surfaces such as asphalt and concrete and it is safe for grass and plants when used as directed. This fast-acting formulation is now available in a practical, reusable, recyclable and airtight container to keep moisture out for optimal storage life.

Super convenient container

Cuts Through Ice Faster Than Regular Salt
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Alaskan ice melter does a good job of dealing with ice and makes it easy to clear thicker buildup by weakening it. Works quickly. Also in my experience if you put some down before anticipated freezing conditions, it will help prevent ice buildup. One complaint is the blue colour can stain hard surfaces. It's not permanent but does not look great.
