Will it damage concrete if used continuously on same area
Hello Iceman2000, Thank you four your question: Concrete precautions
Alaskan® Premium Ice Melter is recommended for use on good quality, air-entrained concrete for cold weather climates as specified by the Portland Cement Association.
Melting snow and ice increases the frequency of the freeze/thaw cycles that can affect all surfaces. Poor quality surfaces may not withstand the stress associated with these cycles.
Due to irregularities and inconstancies in finish and porosity, use of ice melter may carry some risk of surface spalling.
Use of Alaskan® Premium Ice Melter is done at the user’s own risk.
The potential for surface damage can be decreased by promptly removing slush as it is formed.
If you are unsure of the quality of your concrete or the suitability of using an ice melter on your surface, use sand to reduce the risk of slips and falls.
Alaskan® Premium Ice Melter is not recommended on the following surfaces:
Concrete that is less than 1 year old
Concrete with a pattern, stamped concrete and/or coloured concrete
Stone or brick masonry (including flagstone)
Precast concrete (steps or paving stones)
Stone or concrete surfaces that are chipped, cracked, spalled or have exposed aggregate
Wooden surfaces such as decks

Un allier pour l'hiver
[Cet avis a été recueilli dans le cadre d’une promotion.] J'ai adoré ce produit, il est parmi les produits qui tiennent vraiment leurs promesses. Il est très facile d'utilisation. Son contenant permet de le transporter facilement et il n'est pas trop gros. Il est facile à verser et le déglaçant se dépose vraiment à l'endroit choisi sans dégâts. Sa couleur bleue permet aussi de voir exactement ou on utilise le produit. Il est rapide et efficace. En moins de 5 minutes la glace est disparue. C'est un moyen facile et rapide de sécuriser les escaliers, les allées piétonnaires et d'auto. Je recommande ce produit, il est un allier pour l'hiver. Définitivement, j'adopte ce produit.

The only ice melt you will need!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Alaskan Premium ice melter does a awesome job of melting ice. You can spread it out and with the blue coloured pellets you can see where you are spreading it on the ice. Of course at the right tempertures it will start to melt ice on contact. You simply have to break up what is melted ice which is very easy and shovel the ice piece away. I spread it on my precast concert patio blocks and there was no damage done to them. Excellent product will definitely purchase the next time I shop for ice melter.

My Alaskan Premium Ice Melter Review.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It worked great. When i finally got to use the product we had just had a big melt and a fast refreeze. I had a thick layer of ice to go through. I put a layer of salt down and 15 min later I had about 1.5 inches off the first layer. Same with round 2. Put my last layer of salt down and got through the rest. It was so easy to get a nice even layer. I felt like I was not wasting any of the salt by over salting. I am very happy with this product. My son the shoveled likes it too and asked me to buy more.

Great Ice Melter.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I tried using this on the end of my driveway where we had some really bad ice. We sprinkled it down and within a few hours it had began to melt the ice away. And a short time after that it was easy to scrape away the ice. In the areas that only got a small amount it did continue to melt the ice away. The only draw back is that you have to use a fair amount to get it to start melting the whole area. If you only put a small amount or a sprinkling down it only melts a whole in the ice. The fact that it does not eat away at the cement is a nice bonus. And because of the blue colour you do know where you have already put some down. Though a little pricey I do believe that I will go and purchase this product again.

Alaskan premium ice melter in Winterpeg
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) First off, I like that it has the dye. It allows me to spread the product, without wasting it. Since most products are white, going on snow, you go through more product and it means I run out quickly. Alaskan will be more effective in saving money too. It helped remove ice and snow build up in areas that were harder for me to get at with a shovel. I am looking forward to see if it would help with a windrow, after the city plows the back lane.

\product that lives up to its name

I was not able to try the Alaskan ice melt because I have a driveway with interlock bricks and I was concerned about possible issues that were outlined on the paper that came with the sample. So, Home tester club nicely permitted me to share this product with my parents who were able to use it in their driveway. They were very pleased with the manner in which this product worked. It took care of icy spots in their driveway and actually gave them the traction they needs for navigating their driveway(sloped surface) The product was easy to use(open and shake out the needed amount) and it worked relatively quickly. they will certainly purchase this product again once they require more. thank you for the opportunity for testing this product.

Pet Friendly
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Wow the weather had warmed up a bit and we had ice on our parking pad. Had to walk like a penguin. Spread some Alaskan premium ice melt. By the time I put the bottle back in the house, the Alaskan premium ice melt had started to melt the step and parking pad. Had our dogs outside and it has not hurt their paws. So pet friendly. I will go pick more up because this stuff really works and is gentle on the environment it touches! Love this stuff.

I LIVE IN EDMONTON ALBERTA AND WHEN I RECEWIVED MY TRIAL OFFER OF ALASKAN PREMIUM ICE MELTER OUR WHEATHER WAS NICE--HOWEVER WE DID HAVE FREEZING RAIN AND ALASKAN PREMIUM ICE MELTER MELTED THE ICY SIDEWALKS WHCH WAS A WELCOMED SIGHT WHEN GOING OUTSIDE---ALASKAN PREMIUM ICE MELTER COMES IN A QUALITY AND CONVIENENT STORAGE JUG--THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ALASKAN PREMIUM ICE MELTER IS EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS IT DOES WHEN FOLLOW DIRECTIONS AND TEMPERATURES---OVERALL GOOD VALUE FOR ME ☺ HAPPY HO;IDAYS
