Rated 4 out of 5 by JohnnieBowers47 from Heavy but easily scratched [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in the middle of decorating my den and I was happy to be able to try the Kenney Chelsea 5/8" Standard Decorative Window Curtain Rod. I loved how heavy and sturdy it was when I took it out of the packaging ; but, I was not very happy with how easily the rod was damaged. It arrived with a 2-3 inch scratch along the black body of the rod and had a little dent on top of the decorative knob. Other than those two cosmetic issues, the Kenney Chelsea curtain rod expanded to a full length of 48 inches pretty easily and held some pretty heavy blackout curtains!

The Kenny Chelsea 5/8" Standard Decorative Window Curtain Rod has worked very well in my home! I have two windows in the living room that I love to keep a few curtains on all across one large rod. This fit perfectly for the size of the windows and the amount of curtains I wanted to put up. It was easy to put together, easy to adjust and sturdy enough to not cause indentation in the rod. I am very pleased with this product!

I think, the decoration really adds extra elegance and style to any curtain and drapery. It is strong and higher quality. It was accidentally dropped and it didn't break or display any sign of wear. I like how the rod protrudes from the wall, which seems to add an extra flare to solid curtains, but I dislike it, at the same time, because it leaves some room for light to enter in. All in all, I would recommend it.
