Description
This brown treated wood is indispensable for any building project. Its 6-in square base makes it strong, and it's sturdy enough to use in a variety of applications including posts for fencing, deck support, and landscaping. The pressure-treated wood is rot and insects resistant which extends its usable life. The wood has a rich, deep colour, and does not require staining, either for aesthetic or weatherproofing purposes. A simple application of a wood preservative every year is usually all you need. If you plan to cut the treated lumber to a shorter size, just be aware that your new ends require treatment to enjoy the same protection as the rest of the wood surface.

This wood is ground rated however only if not cut. Regardless, if you are looking for longevity, it’s recommended to use a cement block or sonotube with cement.

If I buy a 10 foot length of 6X6 pressure treated wood from you, can I have it cut into 2 5 foot lengths so that I can get it into my car.
Two Questions: 1. Is this material Actual 6x6 or Nominal? D4S implies Nominal. Please provide Actual dimensions. 2. What Chemical is used in the Pressure treatment? CA-C? Other?
