not for everyday use
Bought because it was $10 and seemed like a good tape in the store. Would do a 9'+ standout ect. but on the job a total different story. The hook won't grab or hook anything on the side (like trying to hook onto a standing wall) the tape isn't ridgid enough and the tape just falls over. The tape reads fine until you get over 100" and the #'s are too big and you cannot read 1/8's at all. And finally the tape lock works great, too great and it takes two hands to unlock it.
Like in the title, I would never buy one again (replaced with a Bostich equivalent of a Fatmax) but it would be fine for in a shop use where a framer just plain needs more out of a tape.

Sketchy sales pitch
This measuring tape said it would hold itself out at 10'. And it did ...One time! I went out a little further than 10' with it extended after that first time and the tape "broke" and didn't stay straight. Ever since it will not hold itself out at 10' which is disappointing to advertise that gaurantee on the product. I may be taking this back.

I bought this rule because it advertised a '10 ft reach'. It won't even reach 7 ft without bending. The edges are so curved that measurements are difficult. I'll stay with Stanley next time.

Just what I needed
This was exactly what I needed. It was very precise and accurate. It was amazing I measured each inch of this thing and it was all accurate. Impressive...
