the title says spruce but the description says spruce pine fir (spf) which always means the cheaper pine. is your spruce really spruce or is it pine?

As others have pointed out, if you are expecting a piece of wood without major flaws, you may be disappointed. The piece brought to me was badly chewed up on one edge for a third of the length. Caveat emptor.
