Not so great
I bought this to fill nail holes on MDF trim. This is a fairly simple application. I normally use other product but I it was not conveniently available... so I thought I'd try this instead.
I found the product to be "Gritty" (like there's silica sand in it... probably used a binder but it scratches what you're working on) (like sanded grout) ?) Also, it is difficult to sand. It says contractor grade on it but I don't know of a contractor who would use this because it is difficult to apply quickly/smoothly and sanding it takes way too much time. It may be good for fixing a large imperfection (project) but as a wood filler for any kind of fine detail... it simply falls far short of anything I've ever used to fill wood. I'd call it an epic fail in that regard It costs a lot too. I feel strongly that Elmer's needs to go back to the lab and reformulate this because the labeling makes it appear as a good alternative but it is not. I've done a lot of filling with this so now my prep time will be about threefold due to the points noted above. Products like this should be a joy to apply, have good workability, and produce top-notch results in normal time to have a contractor designation. This product meets none of these criteria.

Check the product closely for stale product
Used product before and had no problem, pick up two more on weekend and the product is dry out and solid, not squeezable anymore. Completely useless.
