Premixed Grout - Flexcolor CQ - White - 3.8 L is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from DYI Homeowner I recently purchased this grout for my kids bath/shower combo. This is my second bathroom I have done and on the previous one I used fusion pro. The grout was easy to use, as with any epoxy type grout it requires some extra effort to clean the tile but it is worth it. I would use this product again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Stuff! I used flexcolor CQ on a marble mosaic floor and so far think its pretty good stuff. Note that the 00White is not quite pure white and has some undertones; I'd call it "soft white", "antique linen". not dingy , just very subtle. Side by side with the (bright white) 38 Avalanche, you will see the difference if thats what you're looking for. (i don't know why Lowes charges so much more for some colors - ridiculous!) It's sanded, but rated down to 1/16". its up to you if you'd like the texture it on shower wall tiles, where the no-sealing requirement is a huge plus. It comes in gallon and 1/2 gallon ( please ignore the "Buyer Beware" review that thought he was getting cheated because the pail was not full) The big plus is it never needs sealing and dries very hard. You can work a section at a time and continue the next day. just replace the plastic sheet on top of the product and close the lid. You can not do this with a true 2 part epoxy. I had no problem installing it on a floor. You need to work fast and in small sections, as it skins up quickly. That means you should start gentle cleaning with a damp sponge after about 5 minutes. After about an hour or so the grout firms up and you can come back and do a final cleaning ( eg microfiber cloth with some windex). But check thats it actually firm or you'll dig it out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific grout!! I have used Flexcolor CQ on 6 tiled areas in my house including an 8'x8' mosiac wall in our ensuite. This product is easily worked into the spaces but you must take care not to do large areas all at once. It sets up relatively quick so you should work smaller sections at a time and wipe off with the provided sponge. We tiled our front foyer over 3 years ago and the grout lines look great. As for our 2 shower areas, the grout has resisted stains and mold for over 2 years. Not too sure why others may be having issues with it but follow the instructions and it should work out well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Grout I have used this grout for several projects and was skeptical at first. the Flex CQ is a grout that does not need to be sealed, is colorfast, color consistent, and stain resistant. The first thing is that since it is acrylic based it cannot be treated like regular grout. - you must work a smaller area at a time which is easy since it is premixed - you must clean up as you go using multiple sponges and clean water to avoid getting a film I love this grout, no blotches from blending a newly mixed batch into previous mix, the colors are predictable and consistent, and it doesn't need to be sealed. Granted the install is a little different than traditional grout but when done right it's worry free.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Buyers Beware! First the container is deceiptive it is only about a 1/3 full. I didn;'t weight but doesn't seem like 14lbs. (It did have a sponge inside.) Which makes this even more exspensive. I can not speak to the stain qualities of the product. Installation took about 3 times as long. I was using on suround shower tub install. 3x6 subway glazed smooth tile. 1/8" spacing. The grount is very difficult to work with on a vertical surface, it does not flow well and does not want to go into the spaces, and then it doesn't want to stay there. You have to keep your float at a 45 degree 100% of the time or it will pull right out. I am professional remodeler and specialize in baths and kitchens and known for my tile work, so I have done a few of these. Most products you can use a zing zang mostion to move the grout around and into the space. Not this material when you turn is will pull it out. So you have to pack it in and stay at 45 degrees. It says it leaves little residue on the title, I found it leaves a film simular to paint. It does come off relatively easy, but more time. They also say that you can use a wet sponge as water does not effect like portland grout, not true it may not weaking but it makes it runny and will sag and run out of the joints. The good new is that it is easy to cut out and redo. I think once in the product will perform well. I like the flexiablity of it and the ease of removal but for the money and the additional time i would not do this again for anything. DIY stay away from this, use a good grout and a good solvent sealer, you will be much better off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the future of grout "Hurr durr, i'm a pro tiler with 38372729 years of experience and this is horrible"… well, I'm a 20 y/o college kid doing a nice thing for my parents. PROS: -Super: Super hard, super resistant, super nice looking. It's like a mineral in the grout lines. -Great for water and stain prone areas, would use this on a shower -NO SEALING CONS -Difficult to use: read the directions please. -Sandy: feels like that wet sand at the beach, difficult to get in the grout lines. -Hazy: wipe many times MY TIPS -Spare plenty of time, wait 5-15 min til it hardens, then wipe (otherwise you'll rip the grout off the lines). Wipe 3-6 times with CLEAN water (that's why you use 2 buckets) and the haze will go away. -Wouldn't use on stone nor slate... maybe would work with grout release?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of time and money This wont save you any time at all. First of all, it dries to quickly. Not cure, but dry. It gets hard to spread under 5 minutes. Clean up is a terrible mess. This stuff stuck to glazed porcelain. I had to scrub tile over and over and over. You have to start cleanup within 5 mintues so you can olny do small areas at a time. Unlike regular grout you cannot leave a haze. Regular grout haze just comes off as dust. This stuff cures to a hard film. Even stuff I touched with the wet spnge had film on it. REALLY expensive compared to regular grout. Saves no time. I washed this and changed buckets so often it probably tripled grout time. Ran out way to fast and try finding another in lowes that isnt half cured in teh tub. Yeesh .... never again. Also scratched my porcelain tile. Which is not easy to do.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy and cost effective This is the same price as the dry combined with grout sealer so pretty much a no brainer for me. If you plan to take a few days to grout and go back to touch up like a weekend remodeled like me, this is perfect. The only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is you cannot leave it for very long before washing it off. It says within 5 minutes and you better be or you will be scraping. If we did small areas and max 2 or 3 minutes it worked great! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
