Premixed Grout - Flexcolor CQ - White - 1.89 L is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top of the line grout I am a professional tile installer. Been doing it over 15 years. Mapei's premixed is the best you can get. I don't understand why the reviews are all bad??? This stuff is gold compared to the regular unmixed grout. The cleaning does take a little bit more strength, but it leaves absolutely NO HAZE after you're done. Plus Mapei has the tendency of grout Color changing on you but with the premixes it's always a good batch and won't change on you. When it cures I feel like its way more stronger than your standard grout. If it weren't for the price, I would use the premixed grout on every single job!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hard to use I bought this to grout a small bathroom backsplash as I thought it would be quick and easy. I would not recommend this for a wall application as the product is very dry and does not stick very well, falls off the wall and makes a massive mess. The included sponge is a joke. It is more difficult to remove than other grouts; however, it leaves absolutely no haze which is nice. Again, I would not recommend this for a wall application as the sand or quartz makes another huge mess when cleaning the dried grout off the wall. For a floor application, with two people working, one applying, one removing, I can see this product working well.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not user friendly The acrylic nature of this grout makes it extremely difficult to remove excess grout from the tile faces, even a few minutes after application. I used this product over 1x4 natural stone tiles on a kitchen backsplash. The tiles were sealed ahead of grouting with two coats of sealer, which should have facilitated cleanup. I followed the instructions and dampened the tile surfaces ahead of grouting. Yet I have never worked so hard to grout tiles as I did with MAPEI Flexcolor. It may be durable, it may be stain resistant, and it may be easier to use on larger tiles with an impervious surface, but I would not recommend it over natural stone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible grout to apply The only mandatory two person grouting job I've ever done. The grout was actually hardening as I applied it. It took a second persons 30 seconds after it was applied to SCRUB the tiles clean. It wasn't just a fluke either. I only had 22 sqft to do and was only ably to get 12 sqft covered from a bucket I should have gotten close to 30 due to all the waste. After another trip to Lowes, the second bucket did the same thing. For trying to save time and get premix for the backsplash I regret ever even looking at this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing product IF you follow the directions This is an amazing grout, and probably the best, strongest and longest lasting grout outside of an Epoxy grout. I'm a professional tile installer of almost 20 years exp., and if you follow the instructions, you WON'T have any problems. DON'T try to grout a big area at once. Just like epoxy grouts, do a few sq. ft. at a time, and clean it well, you won't have any problems. Just finished a 70 sq.ft. backsplash of marble mosaic with this grout, and the clients are very very happy with it, as am I, being the installer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better instructions The instructions that come with it are very vague. They only have pictures of sponging the tile grouting and re sponging. If you're used to regular grout this is not it. It dries very quickly and you need to be wiping it off almost as soon as you put it on the tile. I looked it up online and watch the Youtube on it. If you seal the tile first and just make sure your cleaning as you go it actually works really good. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Colour is very different from container The colour is nothing like the example on the container. I was going to try to patch some grout with it but it looks like I'm going to have to do the rest of the kitchen now. Also make sure you wipe it within ten minutes or it won't come off. Then wipe it again, and again. It's very thick stuff and hardens very quick. Don't recommend for glass or natural stone. I gave it two stars because I don't know how well it holds up yet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mix your own. I've used lots of grout; this I'd my least favorite. It's so soft it's almost liquid, which makes it hard to get it to stay in the spaces between the tile. If you wait until the grout in the spaces is solid enough to work it, the grout left on the tile is really difficult to get off. And if you take the grout off the tile while it still comes off easily, you will mess up the grout in between the tiles. Do yourself a favor and mix your own grout. The time you save using premix doesn't make up for the time you spend wrangling this stuff. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
