Can i use your spray foam to reinsulate a hot tub?
Thank you for your inquiry and for your interest in the DAP Touch ‘n Foam products. The DAP Touch ‘n Foam Pro System 200 can be used for insulating the undercarriage/case of a hot tub. Because you will likely be spray encapsulating the mechanical systems of the unit (plumbing and electrical), it would be strongly recommended to conduct a thorough inspection of these mechanical systems and address any concerns prior to the application of the foam, as access to these systems will be more difficult after the application of the foam. Given that there may be a need to apply foam in significant depth, please be sure that the foam is only applied at a maximum depth of 1" per pass/layer and that sufficient time is allowed between layer to permit curing and cooling. I have a livestock barn with a steel roof that condensates and drips all winter long, I was thinking of spraying this product on the interior of the steel roof. Would it work ?
Thank you for posting your inquiry. The Touch ‘n Foam Pro System 15, 200 and 600 kits dispense a low pressure, two-component closed cell polyurethane foam product. As per CAN/ULC, this product is only tested, approved, and recommended for use in bead application (not full cavity fill) in the Canadian market. Canadian Building Codes differentiate between High-Pressure Spray Foam (HPSPF) and Low-Pressure Spray Foam (LPSPF), currently, only Certified Professional Installers are permitted to apply high pressure, two-component spray polyurethane foam products in full cavity applications. 1) Can this product be sprayed on exposed bedrock in a basement crawl space 2) same question for interior side of concrete foundation
Thank you for your inquiry and for your interest in the DAP Touch ‘n Foam Pro System 200 Kit. This product can be used for below-grade insulation applications (interior side), when applied according to the product usage guidelines. Please be advised that according to Canadian residential building code, low pressure two component spray foams can only be used for bead (not cavity/full surface coverage) application. Will it fill the void underneath a concrete slab and provide support strength?
Thank you for your inquiry and for your interest in the DAP Touch ‘n Foam products. Providing that the foam will be filling a void space in structurally sound concrete, the product should not cause buckling or distortion. Because the foam's density is 1.75 PCF, it is not intended to be "weight bearing", the product would only serve to fill the void/cavity to reduce/prevent erosion. Please be advised that filling (injecting) foam into a "blind cavity" can be challenging, as it is difficult to monitor/observe your work. Should you have a product question or require other assistance, at your convenience, please contact DAP’s Technical Customer Service Department at 888-327-8477.

I need to insulate under my front porch in what used to be a cold cellar. Right now the ceiling consists of metal corrugated pieces of some sort. I would want to spray foam over these to cut down on air flow and insulate the ceiling.
Thank you for your inquiry and for your interest in the DAP Touch ‘n Foam products. In theory, the project (use case) that you propose is possible, however, please be sure measure/monitor your substrate surface temperature, as it is very common for uninsulated surfaces to be dramatically hotter/colder than the air temperature in the application area. Surface temperatures should be measured with a non-contact IR/laser thermometer to ensure that you apply the foam within recommended temperature range. The use of spray foams in overhead applications can be challenging. Please be sure to use proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and to tarp/protect the work area (in the event that foam drips from the application site). Be sure to conduct a test application prior to proceeding, to ensure that your application technique is producing the desired results. When applying overhead, we recommend spraying at a 45-degree angle to the plane of the work surface (not directly overhead). It is recommended to apply multiple thin layers, rather than one large application, this minimizes waste and facilitates a complete fill and full cure. In order to provide and air seal and a vapor barrier performance, a 2" thick application (maximum) of Touch ‘n Foam Professional 2-Component Spray Foam will be required. Please be advised that according to Canadian residential building code, low pressure two component spray foams can only be used for bead (not cavity) filling/sealing applications. Be sure to verify compliance with your applicable local codes before proceeding. Should you wish to discuss your intended project or have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to DAP’s Technical Customer Service Department at 888-327-8477.

1. Is respiratory protection needed? 2. Can I spray over existing spray foam? 3. When house was sprayed "professionally", we had to vacate the house for 24 hours to allow the fumes to dissipate while the foam cures. Is it necessary with this product?
Thank you for your inquiry and for your interest in the DAP Touch ‘n Seal/Touch ‘n Foam products. Detailed guidance can be found in the usage/information package that was provided in your kit in: Safe Use, Storage and Handling FOR LOW-PRESSURE SPRAY FOAM PRODUCTS: Occupants should vacate the home or building during application of Touch ‘n Seal and Touch ‘n Foam Professional spray polyurethane foam. •Based on 3rd party air sampling during and after application, Convenience Products (now DAP Products Inc.) recommends a re-occupancy time of 1 hour after spray application is complete. •The cured foam may have a detectable odor immediately after spraying; however, there are no detectable chemical emissions. It is recommended that if this odor is offensive to the occupants, that the building be vacated for 24 hours. Should you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to DAP’s Technical Customer Service Department at 888-327-8477.

Works well, easy to use
You have to follow instructions and get the cans and surfaces well heated to get the max yield. I suggest using a full p100 mask, the fumes can be quite strong, especially in crawl spaces. There's plenty of nozzles to make sure you can make it through. I suggest prepping as much as possible to be able to do the job in one take, since you loose product when purging every week to keep it going. It made insulating the baseplate area in my crawlspace a half hour very easy job!

Great product
Follow the instructions. I could get 30 seconds without applying product without the nozzle clogging when working at 70-75 F temperatures. I did find one canister drained faster than the other. Working in hot and humid conditions will speed this up, although working at too low temperatures will affect product performance.

Worked well
Sprayed the beam and rim joists around the basement of a 1200 sq ft bungalow. Had just enough left over go back and fix a few misses. Temp was 23c. Set up lots of drop sheets because it drips, which would be my only criticism. Good product

Work well
I was able to do 35 joist ends on the outside walls and 40" of endplate on outside walls s, some areas I put on fairly thick.. First half of the product sprays well, as you use the last half as a 1st time user you think you have a nozzle issues, switched nozzles 3 times in the last half of product thinking it was not coming out as good, but it was just the lower pressure in tanks...just need slow movement down. I recommend this product.

I followed the instructions explicitly.
I warmed the tanks to 25C for 24 hours. Tested all surfaces with laser thermostat gun.
watched all Videos and read the instructions twice.
It went on as described.
Looks good.

Works well but...
In 2021, you folks have a responsibility to indicate to customers how to dispose of this product when done. Putting poisonous, explosive are legal no-brainer from the 70s & 80s.
Need to get with the times.
