Is this a closed-cell foam?

There is an industry definition of closed cell. • To be called closed cell the product has to be evaluated to either ASTM D6226 or ASTM D2856 • The accepted industry standard is that 90% or more of the cells have to be closed. • There are no existing one-component spray foams that are closed cell. • What they are referring to is that all one-component spray foams have a skin after curing. This does not make the foam closed cell. • There is no one-component spray foam on the market that meets the closed cell definition.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cory_459 from Great Product I just recently used this product on my newly installed windows. I was very surprised on how much yield I got out of one can. I tried similar products with the plastic straw and was unsatisfied how little one can covered. I decided to try this brand and the value is much better. You have to purchase the special gun to use this can, but it works fantastic
