Description
Reminiscent of the old fashion ice cream makers of the past, this unit is a fast and easy way to make 6-quarts of ice cream, frozen yogurt, or gelato. It features a locking motor mount, easy-to-clean bucket and a 6-quart aluminum canister. Simply add your ingredients into the aluminum canister, place in the middle of the bucket, layer with ice and salt and allow the electric motor do the rest. The durable churn paddle produces delicious creamy homemade ice cream, while the easy-clean plastic liner provides easy cleanup. Customize each recipe by adding extras like strawberry preserves, cookie dough, candy pieces and much more. When done, use the included lid and lid cap to store leftover ice cream in the freezer.

Gears stripping
Internal gears strip and starts clicking you for our second batch of ice cream hardened. Had to take it apart and bend the metal housing to get it to work. Plastic gears don't seem very nostalgic to me. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Clicking sound
gears slip and makes a clicking sound. Had to keep it spinning by hand when it would get stuck and start clicking. disassembled and no gear teeth missing, just not meshed together tight enough. could not make any adjustments to correct it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Plastic interior cracked
Purchased then exchanged for another. Plastic tub inside bucket cracked where you attach motor on top cracked on both. How long will it last when it comes new out of box this way? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
