Nailer - Framing Coil Nailer is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best gun on the market I am a professional remodeler, about 6 years ago I decided that I needed to add a framing nailer to my tools. I asked a friend who is a professional framer what gun he would recommend, his choice was this gun. I have used it regularly and hard for the last 6 years without any problems and rarely a misfire, I guess I have ran 75 or 80 boxes of nails through it. I have been thinking of getting a second one for a couple months now (lots of work) seen yesterday that Lowes had it on sale as a speical purchase. Between my past experience with this gun, the sale price, and the extra 5% off I got by using my Lowes business account I could not pass up this deal. I fully expect many years of service from this and the older one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As a pro this gun is the best..Balance is great, very comfortable to use all day long. The rafter hook is great . You can use generic nail. I have owned most of the top brands (dewalt, hittachi ,etc) and this is the best nailer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great gun, apparently missing parts The gun so far has been great, and I haven't had a single jam after about 1,000 nails so far. It seems to misfire when there are about 3 nails left, but that's fine - it just tells you to reload. The only problem so far is trying to install the Bump Fire trigger. It appears to be missing something on the trigger, when installed it does not fire the gun at all. When comparing the 2 trigger assemblies the standard trigger has a spring assembly that the bump trigger apparently did not come with - and the instructions do not say anything about changing them out. I would be much happier if it could bump fire, but I guess I'll have to take the gun back to see what the problem is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Gun is Great !!!!! I have lot's of Great luck with this brand of Nail gun,,, wouldn't go to another brand unless they do not come down of the price of Nail's for them.I have found people have been moving to Hitachi Nail gun which is not a bad gun just has lots of problem's with nail's double shooting , and the nail's are only 20 buck's as Paslode's are from 60 to 100 a box ,so Paslode needs to come down on the price of Nail's ,and I bet that the people that are going Hitachi will come back to Paslode cause it's just a better gun all the way around......

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BUY IT! Super-duper fantastic time-saver. First, a confession: I'd never before used a framing nailer, so I've got nothing to compare my experience to by reference; however, Lowes' tool department manager told me that he "never" gets these tools returned which impressed me because most people who purchase this Paslode Framing Nailer are serious contractor-types who work these tools hard. After researching the Internet thoroughly, I discovered that the Paslode is top-rated by many professional framers, so I bought one for myself in order to erect a large pressure-treated wood frame greenhouse and couldn't be more pleased with this tool. Only one word comes to mind: fantastic! Powering through still-wet 2x6 pressure treated lumber into another 2x6 pressure treated is a piece of cake. The Paslode's design and build quality are just superb. This tool is simple to use. I'll echo appreciation for Paslode's built-in rafter-hanger that allows you to have 2 hands free when you're up on a ladder and need to hang the tool up for a moment. The only thing that I don't like is that for $200+ you don't get a molded plastic storage case with it. I like to take good care of my tools and the prospect of having such a nice tool getting banged in my box is unacceptable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my best purchases ever Decided we were going to build a new house, after going through all of the plans and getting everything lined out, we headed to Lowes to get the money flowing lol.. while i was standing at the contractors desk i noticed the nail gun display. Decided to get this nailer since the new house was only about 40 feet from the garage and i could stretch an airhose that far. Long story short, 2696 square ft home, 4 bedroom, 3 baths. may have hand driven 50 nails total? And i bought Paslode nails when i bought the nailer, but found out soon after that the generic nails work just as well and alot cheaper. The nail gun hung on the wall for a year, then i got it out to start the deck, almost 2000 square ft of deck and the nailer performed just like new. If there is any problem at all it would be when you get in that awkward position way up on a ladder and pull the trigger only to figure out you need nails! when it gets down to 3 nails it won't fire, but big deal! For the fatigue this thing saved me it may be the best tool i ever invested in. and a case would be nice....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great nailer!!! I have been using a Ridgid nailer for the past two years and recently switched to the Paslode. Nice difference, my only complaint is that it's a tad bit heavier than what I'm use to. But not enough to make me regret my purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding! Purchased this nailer a couple of weeks ago for $229 (before the price increase); I could not be more pleased. So far it has performed flawlessly. It's light in weight and easy to use. Wish it came with a case...
